At our Memphis, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Placed an order at 10:09 still waiting on food at 10:37 for a KIDS MEAL this is ridiculous. I have an autistic son who is picky as is . & to have such slow service and we come here all the time and every time it’s something. Management need to do better with employees customer service and convenience

Hello on yesterday I visited the store which was Valentine’s Day the young lady in the drive thru name is Jahmiya , her attitude is crazy . I pulled up to order she’s rushing my order and getting smart as well I pulled up to the drive thru and ask her if she’s having a bad day ? She procedded to keep getting smart and the neck rolling . The food wasn’t fresh as , well please have more mannerisms in the drive thru please you never know what people are going through!

CAPTAIN D’S there is no reason why this restaurant should be serving customers like you do! I DoorDash an order I took my time look over what I wanted the dasher didn’t just take an order he was given it yall so foul that it makes no since how in the world does a seafood platter costing more than a 3 piece catfish combo compare this shows me y’all don’t care just making a sale every single time I order from here it’s messed up unless I’m in store and looking at my order before I leave but drive thru you got fool tagged on your head and Uber DoorDash your got stupid fool tagged on you period!! Went to Captain D’s on my break as I was craving the lobster rolls, which I had at another location about a week ago. When I made it to the speaker, all the girl said was “Go ahead”, which should’ve been my first red flag.

I proceeded with my order and paid for it – she still didn’t speak or thank me, which was still fine as I was hungry. However, when I opened my food the rolls were so smashed together I thought it was only one and literally had to check my receipt.

After pulling apart the poorly made lobster rolls and room temperature french fries, I proceeded to call the restaurant to speak to management but got no answer. I will not be going back to this Captain D’s for a long time, if ever…

The manager was texting while cooking and making the orders, and the employees are very rude one of my orders was not correct, then they gave us some old fries that had been sitting all day. I think they need to close down or get some works that want to work

I recently visited Captain D’s and I have to say, the food was incredibly fresh. It tasted like they didn’t drop it in the fryer until I ordered, which made a huge difference. I wasn’t in a hurry, so I appreciated the quality. I just wanted a quick bite to share with my family, and the sample was more than enough for two people, complete with two sides. The flavors were fantastic and really stood out. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful seafood, I’d definitely recommend giving Captain D’s a try. PS they have us a drink which was gone by the time we ordered. I just wish they could have given a refill ( long wait). They said no, I’m sure they refill dine in.

Place to order in drive-thru the cashier was rushing and wouldn’t explain what exactly came in the meals. As we just pulling off we checked our food and fish was not cooked completely went back in and the manager exchange for fresh food she was very polite

Food was decent…employes were pleasent…only 1 small complaint. They had my “to go” order tied up in knots…so i couldn’t check my order without ripping the handles on the bag…the only thing missing was cocktail sauce (which i could have seen could have looked in the bag…overall good experience
