At our Greeneville, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I have been obsessed with this place for the last couple of months. The food is always spot on and fresh. I always get it to go and the order is correct.Every time. They put an abundant amount of sauces in my bag.And they are very polite. The only drawback i’ve had is that they turn off their online ordering a little bit too early.

Figured id give this place another try, Spent 10 mins in the drive thru waiting on someone to take my order had to literally call inside to see if there speaker was messed up, Ordered our food which cost us $22 dollars, decided to pull over in the captain ds parking lot and eat and ended up with the wrong food, Had to get out in the rain to go back in, Did I mention the drive thru line at this place, Just horrible if you ask me, I’m don’t eating here

Why is Captain Ds now cutting their fish in half lengthwise, frying it seperately, and calling that a two piece meal? I am a nurse, worked a 12 hour shift, sat in line FOR 30 MINUTES, (with only two cars in front of me.), paid for a two piece meal, and got really a one piece meal and i’m still hungry lol. This is the second time in two weeks this has happened, thought the first time was a fluke.

The salmon was very dry and not at all what I have had in the past at this Captin D’s. The one in Morristown has lost my business as well. I will not be eating at these locations in the future.
