At our Cleveland, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

My birthday meal. Looked forward to it all day. My granddaughter ordered and picked it up. Less than 15 minutes from home. Fish was hard and tasted like it had sat for a day. Fries were cold and wrinkled. Shrimp were so so. Crab cakes just tasted different and not in a good way. Best part was the single hush puppy i got with my meal. VERY disappointed

Very disappointed today. Went for lunch was there about 12:30 and ordered a fish sandwich with fries. The fries were cold and the fish was warm but the bun was hard and the lettuce discolored. Normally happy with what I order from here but today was a disappointment

I got a 3 pc fish meal with fries and macaroni and cheese. I was just eating a piece until I noticed this other piece completely covered with black pieces and specs. Now i understand a few specs per fish but to be completely covered. Something is wrong with it; idk if it’s bugs; if something else fell into the oil while cooking that piece or what but it’s disgusting. Now I’m having a hard time trying to finish the rest.

This is disgusting! Why does my fish have burnt grease on it.. I can’t eat this. This is not what I would expect from Captain D”s. I’ve been eating here for a long time and I’ve never been served anything like this. Please do something about your cook. He’s not doing things right.

Fish was dry and hard. Clearly been sitting a while. Gave me actually 9 French fries on my plate. The fish they used to have many years ago was always fresh large pieces crunch crust. Now its like eating fish sticks from a freezer.

Gorgeous young lady who I’ve learned is named Latonya made a great experience. Unfortunately I came in and watched the poor girl worked like a dog she wiped tables swept took orders while her coworkers were in the back laughing! Food was average and as expected and there was very little wait time.

Service was alright. We had two orders of food that had sides of green beans and they were fine until we found some kind of nasty grey object in both of our green bean bowls Not really appetizing if you ask me. Also what even is in these crab heads??
