At our Fort Walton Beach, FL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I was the only car in the drive through. I absolutely love captain d’s and today was the one chance I got to go because I was in the area. I waited so long in the drive through to not only get food that had a weird after taste but I am 100% sure the grease has not been changed out and they cooked it all together or something. It was very dissapointing. The lady at the window seemed bothered to even take the money for the order. I was just overall really dissapointed with my experience today

Everytime we come here we have an excellent experience!! If every business ran this way the entire world would be a better place. Above everything else, the staff is incredible. Tonight was Charmaine, Payton and Montis . We actually look forward to seeing these guys when we make the trip over to have dinner. The food is always on point and the price outstanding. Huge props to such a great staff who makes every visit enjoyable!

First timer. Older building, could obviously use some updates, but very clean environment – booths, tables wiped down, front counter clean and uncluttered.
I mean… it’s fast-seafood. They do make it fresh, though. There are no “hot-spot” lights rotting the food while it waits to be bought.
Not too spectacular, but it’s no way near as greasy as a Whataburger… I especially like the sides to choose from, something besides French-Fries.
Daniel treated me like a celeb!
Though I was on foot I got it to go… (5 minute walk to my hotel room) Whitefish dinner was good, Filled me up.
Dining solo I spent $13 (with an extra side of Hush-Puppies )

UPDATE I was Sick after eating half !
I thought I had a spread of food but as eating I discovered the WTH !!
I don’t understand it was so burnt when added to the tray it melts it . Multiple issues here! This is my online delivery order !! My money is good the food wasn’t !!
Be aware of bad locations !!

Suppose to close at 10pm but they had every thing wrapped up and closed by 9:15pm. If u guys say you open til 10pm honor it. Oh and they don’t open on time either. Corporate needs to check these fools.

Good food and quick service,, but…. there were 2 men behind the counter and 1 customer ordering. I wanted some vinegar as I could find none on the table. I was bombarded with how rude I was by the man at the register. I am 60 and have never been scolded like this and am still trying to figure it out. He continued to banter the entire time I tried to eat and when I met him with the same rudeness he threatened me with police. Also he is retired and doesnt need his job according to him. This is just a dog park thing… whatever that means. I have been a customer of captain ds since high school but will never come back. Tell your associates to serve food with a smile. I didnt come here to be corrected by such rude and disrespectful people. He wouldnt give me his name but did state he wears a body cam. I would have a look at the footage… WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT A FAST FOOD JOINT IN MY LIFE!

Terrible experience to the point that I’ll never get food from there again. Didn’t receive all of the food that I ordered and even worse, it was served in USED Styrofoam tray. Pic attached. When I reluctantly decided to eat it anyway because well thats all I had and they were already closed, noticed that there was burnt, melted cheese under my fries. I don’t want to think that this was done deliberately but you never know. Completely disgusted by this and am attaching a pic of what was found under my seafood platter. I don’t even want anything in return. Just know that your staff is disgusting.

This is the worst food I have ever had. The employees here are rude and dismissive. The store is filthy and gross. There is some loud foul music playing and employees are loud with unprofessional conversations and language. I will never be back here and I would definitely steer EVERYONE FAR FAR AWAY.
