At our Douglas, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We ordered on the app. A few things were not available and needed to be substituted. An almost immediate phone call. They upgraded the items they didn’t have. I arrived and the staff was extraordinary!! Friendly, fast, and delicious!!

I ordered online and paid for delivery which was late delivered incorrectly despite explicit instructions and minus food. I had to drive to Captain D’s, deal with a manager that was not professionally engaged, fingered the food in the carryout, tossed it in the garbage and ordered the order remade while looking irritated and disheveled with no apology or any other professional cv. The order was still not correct minus any condiments and returned to a condensation, wet napkins carry out bag. The late delivery and wrong drop off was Door Dash’s fault but Captain D’s chooses who delivers for them, we do not know online who is delivering and should correct their chosen delivery service not the customer. Drive thru is problematic as well; always check for your condiments and why are they crumbling up and tossing in the napkins? Dining in and seeing that the order is correct, getting your condiments and uncrumbled napkins, basically monitoring the workers to ensure correct orders, send to be the only way to get a correct and timely order. Granted it is a FAST FOOD establishment but it’s not fast if I have to correct most of my order. I still enjoy the food at Captain D’s but…

I had a great experience at this location. The cashier was very respectful and helpful. My order was fresh, hot, and delicious. The manager, TK, is awesome , so sweet and always has a smile. The store was clean and well-maintained. I love dining here for dinner, especially when TK is working. Highly recommend!

I have eaten at Captain D’s many times but on last Sunday was the best experience ever. The sweet tea is the best! The customer service was amazing. The restaurant was very clean. I must say this was the best experience ever.

I went to this location at 730, mind you, they close at 10. I ordered the salmon blackened, I was told the grill is down. No problem. Can I get a fried fish sandwich combo. Get the food, had about 10 fries. I waited to the young lady realized I was still in the drive thru and walked over. I showed her and told her, I’m not going to wait on fries because I’m not about to let y’all do something to my fries but you know this wrong of y’all. She just smiled at me. No problem. Your manager will here from me tomorrow and corporate. Then smile for them. I’m over giving y’all my money. Never again.

This was the best fast food experience my family has had in a long time. The food was cooked when we ordered. It was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the workers had a great attitude. 10/10 would recommend.

This place on Friday afternoon February 27th had one person running the front and the window. Waiting in the window line for over an hour but the worst was yet to come. The food was horrible nothing like what Captain D’s use to be. Somebody please wake that management UP.

Order was placed online. They gave us the wrong sides and left out the butterfly shrimp we paid extra for. I ordered green beans and a baked potato – got the baked potato, fries, and Cole slaw. Live too far away to take it back. Tried to call the store, no answer.

Had the white fish grilled and shrimp skewer. Shrimp was uncooked and fish was just bland and nasty! Potatoes was hard & brown inside. String beans were not good. Everything was nasty and a waste of time and money. It may look good but there is no skill or care in this food. Drive thru only . 2nd time trying this location and it’s not good .

I ordered door dash tonight, not to mention right at 100.00 worth for two families! At the last minute I was messeged back by the door dasher that they was out of corn on the Cobb , would I like another side order so I said Mac and cheese would be ok . We’ll need less to say I didn’t get any sides at all after I payed full price! It’s not door dash’s fault at all ! It’s all on captain d,s !!!
