At our Riverdale, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

When I tell you, I went here and the service was great and also the person was at the drive-through. His name was Kentay he was very nice and he did his job to the max and made sure that my food was fresh. I really did appreciate everything so I am giving them a great review and also being honest so yeah, make sure y’all go and check them out So I appreciate the hospitality. Keep up the nice work. I really did enjoy my food as well. It was hot nice and fresh.

Drove up to drive thru order box. Asked for a giant fish sandwich, side of cole slaw & a sprite. “We dont have sprite” was the reply.
I look at the menu again,
And say “ok ill have a Starry”.
Like really?! You couldnt just make it happen or either politely say, “we do have Starry, is that ok?”
Like come on.
So I left. Feel free to leave me a 2 star review too. Its cool. Still do better, its not hard and it costs nothing to make a lil extra effort with customer service.

Ordered grilled shrimp and fish with extra seasoning. Well my order didn’t have the extra seasoning so I sent it back. As you can see, they took the seasoning and sprinkled it on the food and sent it back to me. I said no I want it cooked with the extra seasoning. The man then proceeded to tell me that they don’t cook the fish with seasoning on it. I then said you’re lying I worked at captain ds prepping and yes we do season the fish before you cook it. We went back and forth about the dry season patches on my food. I then said it looks like yall just threw the food in the plate any kind of way anyways. Presentation is EVERYTHING! I finally just ask for a refund and the number to someone over him and he played like he didn’t know a number… he said call the number on the receipt. I was highly disappointed in this establishment. Being a former employee of the franchise, I know they wouldn’t go for this type of carrying on!!!

The WORST. the order taker tonight 12/20 around 5:45/6pm had the worst customer service I had ever seen. She “forgot” to tell us they were out of popcorn shrimp then had the nerve to have an attitude because OUR order was wrong. She was too busy texting at the window, then made a comment about “not having time to deal with these customers today” and I lost it cause I spent my money for a service that I did not get. DO BETTER. If you don’t want to be there and work.. GO HOME…. Shout out to the cashier who took care of us to make up for the lack poor customer service we got from the light skinned older looking lady with no personality.

This location catfish was spoiled and smelled bad, I called and advise manager that the fish spoiled and brought my meal back and the manager throw it out and made the meal over for me, before I get home I was eating the fried and then bite in to catfish and it was spoiled as well, so disappointed and I will never visit this location again and this was a waste of money and time. The cashier was nice.

Well I wasn’t expecting this because actually I was going to call Captain D’s but I’m glad I got this opportunity Please inform your employees who are running the register What type of fish y’all sell how do you a cashier not know the type of fish they sell number two the tables were awful We had to wipe our own tables and I wasn’t going to ask her because I was going to get a order to go and let you know the food is very good but the customer service need the equate the same thing and I only gave the service at atmosphere the stars that I gave it was because the table wasn’t clean and she didn’t know what she selling Captain D’s you need to do better Just don’t have people selling fish cuz they can sell fish You can get anyone to sell fish but they need to know what they’re selling and what’s on your menu and bring back those stuff crabs please You a seafood place you can afford to have crab always available You just don’t have to buy so many If you got clams you should have crab Have a good one

Ordered the crab cake and fish while passing thru Riverdale. Crab cake Looks nothing like the posted ad. About a 30 minute wait. The 1 cook needed help. He’s up front leaning on the counter with his plastic gloves.
