At our Fayetteville, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Just went through the drive thru tonight. This was a very disappointing experience tonight. We have been here many times but can’t believe my food tonight. My husband’s was fine but I ordered the fish and garlic popcorn shrimp but the shrimp didn’t look right at all. Fish and hush puppies were fine but I can’t believe they served me the shrimp looking like this. I am left hungry for dinner now as well. Very disappointed

Food was okay. The customer service people were nice. I didn’t go inside but the parking lot is horrible. Huge holes everywhere. The drive thru speaker looked and sounded broken. Good thing I eat there once a decade.

Captain Discord hasn’t changed much over the years. That’s fine for the food, I always get the meal experience I’m expecting but the decor hasn’t changed in ages so the interiors seem stuck in the past and could use a refresh. For take-out, the decor is a non-issue though.

The WORST Capt D’s…ever!! Tried to get food 2 times in the past 2 years. 1st time, we were told the “grill machine is broken”. Seriously??? Last week we thought we’d try again, since the best one closer to us is now gone. It was about 25 min till closing. No one came to the speaker at the drive thru, so we pulled up to the window…no one. Pulled around the building and tried the order speaker again. Still no one. I called. Someone finally answered and told us to come to the window. We did but there was no menu there and my husband said that. The young guy raised his arms over his head to stretch, exposing his stomach and reached down with 1 arm to scratch his belly, while he told us they were almost closing. It was about 9:45. We left and said we’d give a review and contact corporate, while he was yelling, No! Come back! More than pathetic.

The cashier was polite and smiled, he checked my order and I got the extra tartar sauce I asked for. Everything was hot and fresh. Great dinner. Used coupons. Two Three piece dinners for $15.99.

I am not a fast food eater, but Captain D’s is one of my favorite spots when I want to eat out this is where I go so me and my granddaughter went to Captain D’s and when I tell you, the food was extra delicious. It was good. the service was excellent the atmosphere was nice and clean. I give you10 stars if that was possible. I love me some Captain D’s.

My family ordered 10 piece fish meal. We ordered fries and fries okra for the sides. The fries were not fresh and the okra tasted like it was the genetically made out of plastic. The okra contained fiber that tasted like shreds of plastic. They smelled delicious and was Highly disappointed when we got home.
