At our Bremen, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Have to say, I have been disappointed in the Captain D’s. since the Covid mess it went down hill. The Food was lacking, Employees were not consistent or polite. Not making sure Orders were Correct before Giving them out, etc..
Now They ColeSlaw is Good, Orders Correct, Employees Polite and attentive. Food is spot on and I hope it stays that way. Will come back again. My Wife and Family noticed the difference.

As much as I love Captain Ds I gotta stop coming to this one. I clearly say LEMON PEPPER in the speaker and get original every time. I let the first two times go but now I’m just down right disappointed cause this one is so close to home

The food was fine, even though the pieces of fish have really gotten very small. But what actually earned the stars here was the service. The young man that took our order was very nice and efficient (I believe he was in training, but did a really great job). He went the extra step and helped me get our trays to the table.

We ate at Bremen Captain Ds on Saturday evening. The young girl at the register was extremely friendly along with other workers in the back. It was actually shocking as it is hard to find now days. Not only were they friendly but they were super quick. Everyone dinning in was getting their food before even making it to their seats. While there I also noticed them cleaning and the restaurant was well maintained. Additionally, when I asked for dipping sauces she gladly got me all of the sauces I requested with pleasure. Typically, at other restaurants when getting sauces they treat you as if your robbing them. Overall we had a nice experience in all aspects. Definitely recommend. Hopefully they will keep this same atmosphere moving forward.

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Captain D’s! The food was really good, and if there were locations where I currently live, I would make this a regular! They have some really good specials going on right now, so make sure you check them out!
Overall, the food was hot, fresh, and delivered quickly. The restrooms were also clean but could use a little extra decorative work.
My only complaint is the styrofoam. I absolutely HATE it… it is awful for the environment. They should really switch to paper products.

This was one of the best Captain D’s ! They got the order correctly and they were friendly!!! Food was great Even my picky grandchildren ate their food. Wish I would’ve gotten a large lemonade , I know for the next time.

It was alright I reckon…green beans and broccoli were superb, salmon was OK but quite a bit rubbery,shrimp were tiny, smelly and almost inedible…had to throw the wet greasy bread and rock hard rice away but the service was pretty decent…3.5

I’ve given the Captain D’s in Bremen, GA two chances and both were HORRIBLE. I actually love Captain D’s as a brand, but this location is a complete joke and a waste of hard-earned money.
First of all, the chicken strips looked like chicken nuggets tiny, dry, and absolutely not worth almost $13. And don’t even get me started on the temperature of the food it was cold to the touch. Not lukewarm. COLD. I literally broke my fast to get dinner with my kids so we could enjoy the Kids’ Choice Awards together. They wanted Chick-fil-A, and I should have listened. I would’ve been better off eating a PB&J.
No wonder there’s never a line at this place. Every time I drive by, it looks deserted and now I understand why. When I pulled up, I honestly thought it was closed. It looked completely lifeless. After this experience, it should be.
Please shut this location down the same way they shut down Popeyes in Bremen. This place is an embarrassment to the Captain D’s name. Disgusting.
