At our Snellville, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This is my second visit to this location. Both times it was very good. I haven’t had the chicken before. Also got oysters. The chicken was made to order with decent sized pieces. It was hot, fresh, and crispy. The oysters were big and juicy and cooked right. Glad I came back.

I had got a chicken finger plate there and the size of the chicken fingers they gave me is comical and the fries sounded like you were snacking on doritos because of how over cooked they were never again. Spend over $10 on a meal should atleast stop your stomach from rumbling

I got to the drive thru at 9:50pm and they close at 10pm. As I pulled up to the drive thru speaker, a kid came out the back door & said, “we were slow so we already emptied the fryers & shut down for the night ao we are closed.” If closing time is 10pm, then people should be served if they arrive prior to 10pm. Needless to say, I will probably never return to this location. Considering I have over 15 MILLION VIEWS on my Google Reviews, I feel that people should know this about this location!!! I also see by previous reviews that I’m not the only dissatisfied Customer of this store!!!

Holy cow! This place is so exceptionally clean, and a Beatles playlist is on the speakers. Perfect for a cold day! Rose and Quran were so kind to me when taking my order and hand delivered it to me! Corporate better see this review or else!

It’s a shame that the food is terrible. No taste, not fresh, everything had a weird very bad taste. The best thing about the entire meal was the soft drinks.
What I used to love was the sweet tea but not yesterday. The best soft drink in the restaurant was the Dr.Pepper. Other than the soft drinks I wouldn’t recommend eating anything in the restaurant.
The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful ut serving the worse food.

The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. The two fish and fries for $10 is great! Really cheap for a nice Pre Thanksgiving dinner. I do miss the old fish though.

We went 8/2 at about 8:00. Lady at window was a bit rude. Opened window and said they didnt have catfish do we want regular fish fish. Hubby asked was there a price difference and she said no. Catfish was 13.99 and reg fish is 9.99! All of a sudden they had catfish. They also didnt have sweet and sour. And hubbys order didnt have hushpuppies. Threw in a breadstick. We always say we wont come back every time we go here, which is about 3 times a year. But now, we really wont.

I was a Drive Thru customer. I ordered a Fish Sandwich and an add on piece of Fish. When I received my order the fish was not fresh and the lettuce was old and brown. The time was about 1 pm on a Friday. The parking lot was empty. My point is in this economy restaurants should be able to provide fresh food to people that choose to support their establishment. Highly dissatisfied.

The customer service from the young guy with braids that run the register in the front is beyond Amazing. He run not only the front register but also for those customers dining in, he walk over them their food. I had never seen this before at CaptainDs in Atlanta. Kudos to this young man. Fridays may be their busiest inside and outside. Poor customer service with following up with delivery services on status of orders. Could do tremendously better with that. Clean. Drive through available. Delivery services will have to go inside to pickup.

We both got the Seafood Sampler platter and it was so good! The shrimp were tasty, the crab cakes were cooked perfect, the fish and chips had the perfect crunch, the hush puppies and sides had good flavor! Andrea was very friendly and our food was served fast and fresh. Hats off to the cooks and staff. Will definitely come back.
