At our Morganton, NC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered a 4pc fish plate baked potato French fries two hush puppies and 4pc chicken tender Mac and cheese two hush puppies and a side order of tartar sauce and it costed $26 dollars and didn’t get and tarter sauce that was supposed to come with the dinner and the Chicken tenders tasted like the fish burnt out I was disappointing not going back and within walking distance

For a fast food chain this is a Excellent place to get seafood or chicken tenders at this location. It’s never busy at all especially in the evening hours. Staff is always nice here. The Lobster rolls are fantastic from there!! If you ever think about getting them and something different. 6/11/22 ate from here today and the food is still great!

I have been here twice and both times service was fast but fish was not fresh and hot. I’m not sure if they pre-make excess amounts of fish to push cars through but I would much rather wait a few extra minutes and get fresh hot food.

Great place to eat, very fast and by fast usually it takes them half the time as any fast food restaurants I’ve been to. Extremely nice employees that have the satisfaction of the customers at the top of there priority. I recommend anyone that hasn’t been here to give them a try.
