At our Richmond, VA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Was over charged and food wasn’t not good at all. Broke a plastic fork cutting my food. Paid over $40 to get food that can’t even be eaten. One of the fish was grey in the first picture

The young lady to served me was very pleasant and professional. My only complaint is they gave me “bottom of the fries.” I could have complained but I didn’t want to take a chance that the cook would do something, “don’t mess with people who handle your food.”

Order want correct the cashier put my order in again and still was wrong. Was suppose to have gotten 10 shrimps he gave me 6 again the cashier told him that I was missing 4 shrimps and holes give her a refund. But what takes the cake is when I called and talked to the manager about this problem he said what you want me to do.? The shrimps were super hard

Had a good meal here. Staff was professional and friendly. Had a large fish filet that was hot and cooked well. Fries hot which is extremely rare to find. I absolutely hate cold or lukewarm food. I was very pleased with the entire meal.

This is the second time I came in here this week and both times, the young lady was absolutely rude to both my uncle and I. The first time we let it go figuring she had a bad day but twice in a row? Uh uh!!!! I asked for the manager who was just as rude. Sad that people like this serve food to the public. I’m afraid to even eat there. Then there is a young man on the line in the back on the phone. (See photo) Major no no. I’d be fired for having a personal conversation on my phone while on the clock and as a manager in training, I know that this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
