At our Richmond, VA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

So I picked up some dinner for myself and my client before I go into work this evening. (Mind you my client lives literally around the corner).My meal #10 is absolutely nasty! The fries are hard,stale and the chicken strips ate burnt can’t eat it. Only can eat the fish , hush puppies burnt too! And they had me waiting like 10 minutes to prepare this mess! Nothing is fresh at all ! I wish could give them no stars…. The only good thing is the young lady who took my order and brought it out was very polite, good customer service! Won’t be back though!

I had take out. The person at the drive thru was fabulous. Not only did she repeat my order back to me she made sure I was satisfied with my order. My dinner was fresh, hot and delicious and I had a 15 min drive home. And everything was still hot. See you soon guys. I like good customer service

OMG. This was simply the best. Out of all of the Captions D’s. I have been to in Richmond. Not one of them top this location. My whole entire meal was delicious. Hot everything. The guy even put my bread stick in one of those things like you put an egg roll in. The service was just as wonderful. Whenever you are on the Northside of Richmond you have to stop by Captain D’s. I just hope you get the same experience as me. This was well worth my time the price. I had time to set down and enjoy
