This place is now the Sebastian Saltwater Marina Restaurant. It is fantastic! The service is friendly and impeccable! The food is great! Everything cooked to perfection! This is a nice restaurant in Sebastian on the Indian River with inside and outside seating with a view of the water. It also has an inside and outside bar but the only negative thing about the outside bar is they allow smoking and if you are a non smoker you might not want to sit there. The food was great and average priced except for certain dinners which were a little high for no more than what you get with them. The menu was good with a wide selection and the service good also but I noticed the waitress had to hustle to keep up with the crowd. Will definitely go back and try them again.

My grand daughter wanted to come here for her birthday dinner. About 12 of us handled with no real issues. Seating was comfy, server always close by and our needs met, food was good! View was equally nice except for some drizzles. I have been here for lunch and sat on the deck with a Cobb salad- one of the best I ever had!

Decidedly to go to Captain Butchers today as I have been coming here lately when I visit my folks. I knew that I was not going to have a problem as my waitress Kaylea took good care of me and my girlfriend. We both had some mimosas and for appetizers we had the fried calamari with fried spinach and some coconut shrimp. And then I had the Black n Blue Burger which was so delicious. This is another great spot to go to on clear sky Sunny day to enjoy the weather and view!

Nice spot on the water and service was great! However I was disappointed by the food. Ordered conch fritters which were the best part. They had plenty of conch, they were tender and not greasy! The spinach salad was large leaf with lots of stems with red onion rings that were big plus what tasted like pre cooked packed bacon. I also ordered the tuna poke bowl. I have had quite a few before and this one by far was the worst. No flavor. Tuna over very coconut rice. The cocktails very good.

I went here for my graduation dinner – the service was above & beyond! My whole family agreed Scott was the best waiter we have ever had – anywhere! The drink menu was excellent & fast. I recommend the basil martini (incredible, best martini I have ever had). The house wine was also great for the price – only $5! We had the tuna poke bowl & that was gone in seconds at our table!
The food was fresh & mouth watering to say the least! Probably the best menu in the area with unique flavors as well.
My whole family was pleased with this so I certainly recommend this restaurant for a crowd! We even had dinner & show with dolphins showing off in the sunset!

Sebastian Saltwater Marina Restaurant is the new name for Captain Butchers. The name change occurred in January 2022. Same great food and service. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have one of the best outdoor seatings in Sebastian, which a view of the Sebastian Inlet and the popular sandbar. We have never had a bad meal at Sebastian Saltwater. We recommend the Grouper basket (you can get that with mahi too), steak when it’s available, key lime pie, and the cheesecake. Always a great dining experience.

First time eating here and it didn’t disappoint. We sat outside under the bar canopy facing the water. Great view and breeze, very relaxed for a Tuesday night. We started with a dozen Oyster Rockefeller. My wife and I split the raw bar combination platter. It was plenty of food for two people. Some of the best boiled shrimp I’ve had in a restaurant. They were plump and moist, not overcooked in the least, which so many restaurants can’t seem to get right.
The raw oysters and ceviche were on point and the sushi poke bowl was absolutely fantastic. The only “meh” portion of the platter was the fish dip. The fish was smoked nicely, but it was on the dry side. Tasty but I like my fish dip more creamy than dry—- just a personal preference.
We finished the meal off with a piece of the key lime pie. Well done!

Another restaurant with a great view of the water and plenty of welcomed breezes on a hot summer day. We had an outdoor table with an umbrella, and it was great! I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl which had delicious sushi grade tuna, asparagus tips, coconut rice, and a tasty dressing. My husband got their black and blue burger that came with blue cheese, onion bacon jam on a toasted brioche bun. He didn`t leave even a crumb on his plate. My mother in law got the seared scallops (they were huge) topped with onion bacon jam. Great food and service!
