The shrimp wasn’t bad at all. The spicy sauce needs alot of work. Its watered down & the container they give it to you in is half full; giving you 4 sauces was really giving you 2 tbh. The fries were soggy, unsalted and clumped together, almost as if they were microwaved

The scallops were amazing perfectly breaded and deep fried. Shrimp were fresh and really big again perfectly breaded and deep fried. Frog legs were great tender and not too fishy tasting. This is up there with blue island in Chicago. Clam strips also really good. The pricing is great as well. I’m happy I don’t have to drive to Chicago for good food like this now.

Ever been to a restaurant and you know about 1/2 way through your meal that you’re never coming back? That’s this place.
The place wasn’t actively bad, it just wasn’t even close to being good. I ordered the large jumbo shrimp, the small frog legs, fries, Cole slaw, and a tea. It came out to just over $31.
The shrimp was totally bland and there may have been more breading than shrimp. The cocktail sauce was decent (you pay an extra $1 for that) but they forgot to give me tartar sauce so I can’t rate that. The texture of the shrimp was really weird. I’ve been eating shrimp all my life and have never seen any shrimp like this.
There were 14 fries (I counted) and while the frog legs were good, they again had way too much breading on them.
This place only takes cash but don’t worry if you don’t carry any – they have an ATM right there. Someone more adventurous than me can let us know what the atm fee is.
I won’t ever be back. There are much better places to eat along that road.

I’m really disappointed in the catfish. I asked if it was filets and they said cut into strips with some bone. It was basically the spine of the fish, cut into 2 inch pieces, with very little meat and a ton of breading. Couldn’t finish it.
The gentleman at the counter was friendly, but the food was not very good.

Place to get a quick seafood bite to eat. One of only places around to have frog legs, clams, and other interesting sides. I had some jumbo fried shrimp that were huge.

I love this place!!! I have followed this place around everywhere they moved. The place is small more like a takeout, not fancy at all. But there’s some sitting available for you to eat if desired. Nick, is always friendly and knows his stuff. The breading in the food adds to the wonderful taste of the food! I always get the large bag of shrimp with mild-sauce, to me taste and flavor is everything! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
