Josh was an awesome server at Captain Loui! I got the lunch special with shrimp, crawfish, and noodles in the bag it was fresh, flavorful, and so good. Josh was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

Obsessed with the adult caprisun, they are so tasty! My fav is the bayou breeze! Get the extra shot because why not! Crab legs were good but small, and I thought the side garlic parm noodles were very good. My server was Val, she was awesome!
$1 oyster Tuesday! Take advantage they taste as good as they look! Crackers aren’t stale if you want to pair them! I also tried the wings today, apparently they are dipped in hot wing sauce & then battered very tasty they are not extra hot or spicy & paired with the lemon pepper seasoned fries, Delicious combo!

This place is amazing every time! Best seafood this side of town hands down. Definitely a must try. My kids love the shrimp and I crave the garlic noodles like it’s crack.
(Disclaimer: I’ve never had crack). Service is always on point which is hard to get nowadays. Tommy was great from the moment we walked in.

I came from Wisconsin to visit family & we came here on Sat 12/20, right as the doors opened. We brought chaos first thing with 5 adults & 4 kids. Kimi was our server and she was OUTSTANDING, just smiling and patient, and helpful. The food was awesome. We started with calamari, which was tender & the fries were hot and crisp, then raw oysters, no grit or chipping pieces of shell, super fresh taste. Then we got I think 4 different bag boils & a huge plate of chicken tenders & fries. We asked for fresh gloves & got them, Kimi was quick with the water refills.
This was overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend it.

Me and my husband went up there two days ago trying just find a good seafood spot. We can finally settle down at. As we were welcomed with an amazing greeting our server Katie Was incredibly rude. We were new coming to Captain Louis and we had a lot of questions about the seafood. Just trying to make sure we could understand the menu so we can come back again. Ask through every question we ask her attitude and her tone got worse. It was as if we were annoying her and we told her we told her if it was too much we could you know slow down so she could gather Everything we were telling her. After she took her order and we got our drinks, everything was OK until we were almost done with our food and she asked us about a review we needed to do and we told her that we were gonna wait until next time to do review so we can give a honest true review when we told her that instead of her understanding she said “ Was my Service is not good enough” And we’ve been told her her service was OK. Her attitude just made the experience downhill. After that, we paid and we walked out. I would probably come again, but I would prefer another server.

Online ordering was a disappointment. They don’t allow any substitutions and your box is filled with an abundance of thin cold fries. Paid $3 extra for corn, $3 extra for tiny slaw. The soft shell crab looked so disgusting my husband (from Maine) couldn’t even stand to taste it. They don’t sell hush puppies. Picked the order up because they charge $7.95 delivery fee PLUS the driver tip plus they ask for a tip for the kitchen staff. The tips I don’t mind but $8 to put food in a styrofoam box is ridiculous. Spent $60 on basic fried meals for 3 people. Never again. Pics attached.

My family and I went for the first time tonight and had Savannah as our server. She answered every question we had as newbies and made suggestions on what to order. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and they were very fresh. Shrimp and crab legs from the boiler with Captain Loui sauce which was absolutely incredible. 2 pounds fed 4 people comfortably and we had leftovers! We will definitely be back. Ask for Savannah, she was wonderful!
