Very disappointed. The food was not worth the price. My lobster tails were over cooked and very cold. The drawn butter was cold and had to order more. My daughter’s steak she said was very good. My husband’s Grouper was okay but it had crab meat on top which was good but was also filled with scallions which he hates and there was no mention of that. All of our food was cold. We watched people come in after us and leave before us. Our waiter had no personality what so ever…never cracked a smile! Mott O was his name. I should add that he was very polite and maybe was just having a bad night.

I’ve been coming to Captain Anderson’s for years and It’s always been consistently good. The menu has something for everyone and the food is tasty. There can be a long wait despite the extremely large size of the restaurant, but once you are seated the service is fast. The restaurant has some great views if you get near a window. It couldn’t hurt from a little updating. We always get the seafood platter and then usually a shrimp and scallops platter. The she crab soup is worth the upgrade, and that bread, just keep it coming. Some call it a tourist trap but it’s been around forever and is voted a favorite year after year, so I say definitely consider it for an evening out. Bring the fat wallet, or the credit card 🙂

Good food and a great atmosphere. The shrimp cocktail was tasty and not too pricey. The Scamp Imperial and Salmon was excellent. Our waitress was nice even though she seemed to be busy with a lot of tables. They had a wine specialist that was also helpful. Check them out if you want some good seafood.

One of the best tasting seafood restaurants in Panama! Food was great, server was great, Most portion sizes were as described .Definitely will return. We did wait an hour during busy time but that being said at other local place almost 3 hour wait for Sub par food. Don’t sleep on this place to try when you’re here. Only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 was it could use some music imo but it was very nice inside.

Without a doubt, my favorite place to eat in PCB. Top notch service, excellent food, great atmosphere amd a phenomenal wine list. The staff is always educated, professional and very VERY good at what they do. Even during dinner rush timestou never feel as if you are being pushed out the door. Our every need and question was attended to quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an elegant and enjoyable evening!

It’s our anniversary and we went here because we’ve wanted to go for years. We got seated and proceeded to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a drink. The service and food are mediocre, especially for the price! We both got the Wedge salads, but they were swimming(!) in dressing and bacon! I know, who complains about too much bacon. Well, I’ve attached pics. The bread they serve is ok, reminded me of the day old bread in England. My loaded baked potato was drenched in sour cream, and my Sea Scallops were laying in butter. They overdo the sauces! What are they trying to cover up? My husband asked for medium+, but it came out medium rare(I loved it! ),he didn’t. We were dining on our Anniversary and didn’t want to complain and make everything negative but it wasn’t great! Our server seemed timid, and I felt bad complaining to her, but it wasn’t great! We had a good time cause that’s how we are but food wasn’t good, especially for the price! Our plates were not cleaned up. We had old food dishes sitting after paying the bill (last pic). My problem is the money we paid does not constitute service or food! I’ll attach pics.

I was looking for a good place to eat seafood while in Panama City. Someone at the hotel where I was staying recommended Captain Anderson’s. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! The food was so-so, I think it would have been better had I not chosen fried. But I went against my waitress’s advice. I was seated by the window looking out at the boats and it was close to sunset. The view was wonderful, the service was top-notch!! The desert was fabulous.

Captain Anderson’s is a must each time we visit Panama City Beach. Food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. One of my go-to dishes is the stuffed flounder. Stuffed grouper is great too! Captain Anderson’s is a dining EXPERIENCE like no other in the area.

Can’t express how good the whole experience was at this restaurant. Lisa did excellent serving. We had shrimp for an appetizer, she crab soup, I had the red snapper imperial style, my wife had the crab fingers, and we topped it off with lava cake.

Old faithful has been a PCB classic for both locals and tourists alike for as long as I can remember. You can’t go wrong with their seafood options and the steak whether you go for the Churasco or the Filet hold their salt against the rest of their offerings. My personal recommendation would be the oysters for an appetizer or the peel and eat shrimp. The grouper imperial and scamp imperial are my two favourite fish options with the later being more expensive but definitely worth the extra $. Make sure to view their dessert platter and take a ‘risk’ on the feud cake, not many other restaurants feature that slice of heaven.
