Our 2nd time here and everything we have tried is consistently delicious. This morning, the place was pretty empty, and we were ok with that, lol. All our meals came out hot and rather quickly. We still want to come back for lunch one day, but it’s definitely a place to have a hearty and tasty breakfast!

Coastal Southern Monmouth County & Northern Ocean County NJ is probably one of the most competitive places for high quality breakfast in the USA and this spot is top 3. Whether you get a sandwich or a platter or whatever it’s insanely good. I’m surprised it’s not more crowded year round. A total gem. The owner has been doing this for years and knows what he’s doing with breakfast food. You gotta check this place out.

Great service from Daryn! Delicious make your own omelette. Awesome captain’s sandwich! Ward coffee was good. No gluten free bread but that’s ok. Don’t need the carbs! LOL! Place is charming, clean and huge. Tons of tables outside and in. Will definitely be back!

Our new favorite breakfast place!!! Delicious menu, parking on premises, outdoor dining. Omelettes, home fries, pancakes, sandwiches, etc. Great service, staff wears masks and we have had plenty of social distancing space been around us. SO GOOD!! Spent about 20 min looking at breakfast restaurants and decided this one sounded best – we were right! The waffle appetizer with donut glaze and coffee cake crumble was ridiculously good! My broccoli cheddar omelette was great, husband got a special with eggs, feta, olives, and pita bread that he loved – fantastic little place! 🙂

In many cities a place like Capsized Cafe is a nearly instinct environment and that’s unfortunate. Delicious comfort food, laid back but completely polite service, and a super local vibe made my initial visit to this restaurant a wonderful one. I will be returning often. Both my wife and I had excellent breakfast dishes with plenty of black coffee. Added bonus: we got to share our table with Captain Morgan and his gang of Confederates!
