Australian Lobster & Filet or with Shrimp. By far the BEST steak house in Brentwood. Better than most places in the area for its fine dining and excellent customer service. Family & Kid friendly. Highly recommended to give this place a try not just once but weekly it’s that good!

Such a disappointing experience. To set the stage; upon our arrival, we shared with the front desk that we were there for cocktails and appetizers at 5 pm which is a normal happy hour time.
We were nicely greeted by our server for our cocktail order and appetizer. Upon realizing we were not there for dinner, it was shared that our table was reserved for 6 pm. All good, we had a half hour to enjoy our cocktail but never saw the server again. They were happy hour busy but about half the tables open. Apparently our 100 dollar tab was not sufficient to be considered worth checking on.
Addressed with ownership and my suggestion was let us know before we sit down if our time would be limited, and don’t leave us hanging. We used to live in Brentwood and specifically chose to come visit caps with our friends who met there 20
Years ago. We won’t be going back despite the mangers assertion upon our departure “you’ll be back; nope we won’t. I’ll be happy to spend my 100 dollars elsewhere. I’ve been in 3 states in the last 8 days including NYC; and we were treated better in NYC during the holidays. Surprising better service than a home town restaurant.

I lived in Brentwood for 8 years. Never been this restaurant I decided to give it a try. When I walked in feels like cozy environment. But once I sit down the noise from open kitchen annoying me. We ordered crab cake it came out in two minutes. Temperature was warm tastes like being made for a while. It tasted very salty. Calamari steak was mushy and caper sauce is way too salty. We would never come back again very disappointed. Be aware they charge 4% charge if you pay with credit card.

They do a prime rib special on Sunday’s that’s 2 for $70 which includes a bottle of wine, soup/salad, baked potato & veggies. Really good prime rib. Old fashions were great, too. Huge dessert menu. Tiramisu was good & the banana cheesecake

I’ll just make it be as detailed as usual. First time here. Came for a business meeting. The ambiance is nice had a kind of a fishery rustic Italian village vibe style. Pretty nice. The wait staff is awesome on point. Very respectful & on the ball. We came at lunchtime so the traffic there was minimal, which is great for me lol. We ordered the fried Calamari, Mozzarella cake, & side salads for our appetizers. They were all really flavorful, crisp & filling. For our main we ordered the Steak and spinach, lobster bits in escargot sauce, and salmon. We got some things to discus with the main courses. Each wasn’t to either of the 4 of our liking. Steak was a bit overcooked/burnt. The lobster bits were overly oiled with the escargot sauce & garlic butter. The salmon was a bit too salty but overall not too bad. I’d definitely give this spot another shot. My next visit I’ll further explore the menu and dabble on the pasta side. The selection looked more than appealing so. There’s a play there.

AMAZING FOOD and GREAT SERVICE. Parking is difficult if anything in town is happening. Didn’t appear to be ADA accessible (I could be wrong). The indoor atmosphere was okay. Very dated inside, and the building was warm/hot. Seating was very close, and the room was so loud we had to yell at each other to have a conversation. The outdoor seating area is MUCH better, more accommodating, and more inviting. Live acoustical guitar music was an amazing touch. All-in-all, it was still a pleasant dinner, and the quality of the steak and appetizers made up for the shortfalls. We have returned on four other occasions. Reservations are highly recommended, and if the weather is nice, request outdoor seating.

My wife helped open this place back in 1992. Visited this place tonight after she left in 1995. We met Jimmy tonight and it was a great flashback to the past. They both knew so many people from that time. What a great experience.

I had been told to check this place out for a while and it didn’t disappoint but also didn’t impress. I was seated immediately by a really nice hostess. Very shortly afterwards I was greeted by my server. She didn’t tell me her name. I had to ask for it. I ordered the $6 Chardonnay and it was very crisp & sweet, yet strong. I ended up having 2 glasses. I tried the soup of the day which was a chicken soup in a white sauce. There was about 8 pieces of chicken total in the soup. I did inform the manager or whoever the bald gentleman in a suit was. He didn’t seem to care much. Afterwards, I had some oysters. Half dozen was $20, ouch. They were average. The main dish saves the evening for them. This salmon was the most moist I’ve ever eaten. It was stuffed with other seafood items. The plate had one cup of veggies and a single potato. To finish, I had the lava cake topped with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. Absolutely incredible desert.

First time here, came to get dinner before a comedy show. The menu is very basic traditional Italian food but they have some specials that vary. The crab cakes were a little disappointing for the price – size was ok but they seemed a little overcooked and didn’t seem as fresh/handmade as I was expecting. The spinach salad was fresh and big, with a generous helping of bacon pieces (not bacon bits), which was great. The fettucine carbonara was really quite good, with big thick chunks of pancetta. My companions ordered the chef’s special and the seafood grill combo and were both pleased with their meals. The food is not cheap but the portions are fairly generous. Bread pudding was really good. The comedy show, by the way, was excellent!
