From Commercial Avenue in South Chicago to Schererville Indiana, to now in Crown Point, we are still serving the same high quality, delicious pizza recipe that has become Capri’s legacy. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza on Valentine’s Day while I was in town for work. I grew up going to their original Chicago/Whiting location, so I was really looking forward to some nostalgic comfort food. Unfortunately, the pizza was extremely disappointing. I ate a slice on my way home and noticed it was dry and burnt, didn’t think of it much since it was an corner piece. but when I got home I realized the entire pizza was BURNT and had no sauce on it.
I called and the manager offered a remake, but since I couldn’t drive back, she offered a store credit. I asked about issuing the credit to the Whiting location, but they’re no longer associated with them. And I can see why. I realized I wouldn’t be back in the area after the weekend. I tried reaching out multiple times by email and never received a response. tried emailing them four separate times using two different methods. through their website and directly via email — and never received a response. I also spoke with a gentleman a few days later who said issuing a refund should be no problem and that only the store manager could handle it. I never heard back.
At that point, I disputed the charge with my bank. This situation could have been handled much better. Very disappointing experience, especially from a place I had such fond memories of growing up.

We have been customers since we lived in Chicago. We always order the same thing Large half cheese & half pepperoni. Yummy Fries. That stuffed pizza with sausage & spinach is the BEST! We get a box of chicken and it’s always a Capri’s feast.They ALWAYS give us the BEST customer service. I recommend this place to everyone that loves great food.

This was my worst experience ever! I ordered $75.00 worth of food. The pizzas were so greasy that the paper wrap was all see through. One of the pizzas were missing a corner piece don’t ask me how but it was the other one all the cheese from the middle was gone from the pizza sliding from the delivery.. And when I called about it the owner Lady want to give me $2.00 in credit. But I ended up with a $5.00 creidt. She wanted me to take them back. But my grandkids were hungry. So we tried to make the best of it. It was a nightmare. I don’t think I’ll go back even though I have been eating Capris since I was younger from the original spot in South Chicago.

Second time in a row with horrible service.. first time I thought is was just a rough night…. This time I am missing a pice of chicken, then they delivered it to the neighbors house who stated it was delivered at the door on the floor on a rainy day and the driver just left. Called the supervisor of course no call back and the chicken and fries are a bucket of grease and not fresh at all.. come on do better we ordered weekly. Guess not anymore…

I have been looking for some good pizza for a long time and I finally found it!!! Took me back to my younger days in Chicago. Pizza has been very bland to me for years but Capri’s pizza was absolutely delicious full of flavor!

Will never order from here again or try to. Was on hold today for 25 minutes and no one even bothered to answer. Called yesterday 5 times and was hung up on every time. Ordering online doesn’t work kept getting an error message. If you’re not wanting orders just answer and say so. Commercial Capri was never like this nor is Whiting. You have lost several customers now.

The food at Capri’s is great. They have a great variety on their menu. The prices are very reasonable. Their ordering system online is super easy and makes it a plus. I’ve ordered many times from Capri’s, the service and food is always a hit. Definitely a place to try if you haven’t already.

It was phenomenal! We drove all the way from the UP to get our hands on these sweet slices! We also got the chicken parm sandwich but ate that too quickly to snap a pic! Incredible sauce and quality toppings. Don’t miss out!
