Our first experience here was fantastic! Everything is fresh. I even tried to get a sample of one of their sauces and couldn’t bc it’s made to order: will be mine and my husbands new spot for sure. Only complaint was the salad was a little underwhelming. But the entrees and dessert more than made up for it.

This restaurant is superb! Authentic Italian with a modern flare. The food was outstanding, you can tell the chef spent time in the kitchen with his Nonna. The bread is divine and definitely made from scratch! The soup was creamy and decadent, a true start to a wonderful experience. I always try spaghetti with meat sauce to taste the authenticity of the meal. The dish was perfection!!! From the presentation to the blend of spices, best ever! Chef Alex is top notch, his passion for food and stellar service is evident. This place is truly a destination for a real Italian experience that is guaranteed to please!

I was impressed with the ambiance created by the host staff and the music playing in the background. A warm and welcoming environment for an exquisite culinary experience.

Oh my goodness… what a great meal! Everything was amazing. The olive oil for dipping was filled with garlic and basil and was just delicious. Give this new restaurant a try!

Meal was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Portobello mushroom ravioli in Alfredo sauce. It was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. The bread was really good as well. My son had chicken Alfredo and soup. He said the soup was the best he’s ever tasted.
The hostess was super sweet and the waiter was nice. We got our table super fast, despite being told there was a wait. The only reason I deducted stars is because our service once seated was slow and we weren’t really checked in on during the meal. They’re a new restaurant, though, so I’m not holding it against them. Hopefully service improves with time.

Definitely will be back.

The atmosphere was a little dull, but you don’t need a pretty restaurant to enjoy the food.

We recently tried Capri’s Italian Restaurant, a new addition to Elizabethtown, and overall had a very enjoyable experience with a few growing-pains worth noting.

We began with the cheesy bread, which came highly recommended in other reviews. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short. While it was crispy garlic bread topped with cheese, it didn’t stand out enough to justify the $8 price tag especially when the complimentary warm dinner rolls were far better. We also weren’t offered the garlic oil dipping sauce that others had raved about in their personal reviews, which was a little disappointing.

Each entrée comes with a soup or side salad. The side salad was fairly underwhelming. It was a small bowl of standard bagged salad greens with limited dressing options (Caesar, Italian, ranch, or Thousand Island). It felt more like an afterthought than a true accompaniment.

Service was attentive, though our waiter was extremely soft-spoken, making it a bit difficult to hear him at times.

Where Capri’s truly shines is in the main courses. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and it was outstanding. The heat level was perfectly balanced, flavorful without being overwhelming, and the shrimp were large, plump, juicy, and cooked just right. The portion size was generous, with plenty left over. The only thing that would’ve made it better is having the shrimp tails removed, as they made the dish slightly harder to enjoy.

My dining partner chose the Chicken Parmigiana, which was equally impressive. The chicken was tender, coated in well-seasoned breadcrumbs, and served with a hearty portion of spaghetti and marinara.

When our waiter brought boxes and the check, dessert options weren’t mentioned. While we didn’t need dessert, I absolutely would’ve been tempted by an Italian cream cake slice to take home—especially with leftovers waiting.

Overall, I’d rate Capri’s a solid 8 out of 10. It’s a cozy, quaint space with limited seating, but we had no wait for a 5:00 PM weeknight dinner. For a restaurant that just opened earlier this month, the food is already on the right track. It’s refreshing to have an authentic Italian spot in the city, and we’ll definitely be back to bring family and friends.

Capri’s was our main course stop on a progressive dinner date, and it delivered.

We had about a 30-minute wait, which honestly wasn’t bad at all considering it was Valentine’s Day, a Saturday, and one of the newer restaurants in Elizabethtown. That’s pretty reasonable timing.

We split the tortellini bolognese, and the pasta was delicious—rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for Italian comfort food. The house-made bread was also a highlight and definitely worth mentioning.

The salad wasn’t my personal favorite, but it did the job. The only small critique was that our pasta came out so quickly that we hadn’t received our salads yet. That said, if I have to choose between food coming out fast or waiting forever, I’ll take fast every time.

The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything, especially on a busy holiday night.

Overall, a strong experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Alot of people have been ranting about Capris Italian Restaurant so we had to check it out ourselves. Roger had the Lasagna and I had the Chicken Parmigana with real basil chiffonard on it. Comes with soup or salad and bread. WOW! The server, Bardi , told us everything was made fresh every day and he was not kidding! The bread was amazing, did not need any butter. Our meals came out and I know my eyes looked like they were going to pop out of my head. The portions were ridiculously huge! We were so full we brought another meal home as leftovers and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert. You have got to try this place, would give it 10 stars if I could. Olive Garden lost my vote for sure.

Best Italian in Hardin County, hands down. Close to quality of Gramma Grassa. A few things could use upgrade, considering the price point – plastic Pepsi cup with a $27 meal was odd, but I’m going to chalk it up to saving where they can to get started. Everything seems made in-house; Even the tiramisu and canolli!! We’ll be back to check out other meals.

For a quiet little spot the restaurant was busy for dinner, the place is not fancy in decor and the prices are average..we enjoyed the service, the portions and the tastes..we shall return..
