I love a great Italian sub and, for my first visit, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop did not disappoint.
I ordered a Classic Italian with everything except the relish. It was good – like homemade. The bread was just okay. It doesn’t hold up very well when you have oil and vinegar though. However, all the veggies were really fresh and crunchy.
Capriotti’s is located on Moreno Beach Dr. just south of the 60 freeway in Moreno Valley. Look for El Pollo Loco and Ono’s Hawaiian BBQ.
Overall, decent sandwich shop. Would love to try the other items on their menu next time I’m in the area.

Glad to see they arent charging for a side of Russian on a $25 sandwich anymore. That policy made me stop coming about a year ago. Customer service was much better this time too. Jackie was super on top of it and apologizing for the delay (which wasnt a big deal since it was noon and lunch rush) but she even came over to the tables to ask how everything was at each table with people eating. Cindy was great and friendly too. Glad we had a better experience this time around. Will be coming back

The quality of the Hot Bobbie has drastically declined in the past few weeks. I’ve had 4 pick up sandwiches now with no cranberry sauce (ordered on two different occasions on a weekday evening). I called the first time to see what happened and they said they likely mixed up the order, and told me to go back and they would give me the cranberry sauce. I was understanding. Mistakes happen, but I did not make the 30 minute round trip drive for cranberry sauce. But this means they did not run out, they just didn’t add it. Today, my husband ordered it again, and also no cranberry sauce. This sandwich is very dry and disappointing without cranberry sauce. If you’re picking them up, check your sandwich before you leave. They seem to be adding less turkey and stuffing too. Very disappointed. Here are pics of no sauce plus the previous one with sauce which we liked for picnics or hikes. Don’t think I’ll be able to keep buying this anymore. They’re not cheap and they don’t honor the ingredients it’s supposed to have.

I tried this place for the first time and liked the subs I got! I found out they only use white bread for the subs but a small 8″ is a pretty good size for 1 or 2 people. I got the Capastrami, Turkey, and Classic Club. I will be returning to try their infamous cheesesteak sub.

Service was great. Food was pretty good. Went for the vegetarian sandwich options. Love that they have veggie turkey, wonder if it’s vegan. Small area to dine in. Really great service, which always makes me want to come back!

Just a basic sandwich shop. Price doesn’t match quality. You’ll be prompted to leave a tip when you pay. I got the classic sub, I make better sandwiches at home. Won’t come back, the sad thing is it’s nothing they did wrong. There’s just nothing special about this business. It’s most likely not a restaurant specific issue, it’s more likely a franchise issue. Something in the sandwiches made my mouth tingly and numb after I ate here, maybe preservatives or something, who knows.

I come in here often for a pastrami sandwich. Today was the first time I had a horrible experience. I ordered a Medium size sandwich and half of it is empty, just pickles and mustard. I tried calling to resolve the issue and they won’t answer their phone, so I have to post this review in hopes that a manager will see it and make it right.

So the food was good and all but the thing I really enjoyed was the customer service. “Mikayla” (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong ) was a breath of fresh air super nice and communicative and helpful. Give her a raise. I’m going back next week to try coleslaw on my chipotle chicken sandwich per her suggestion (ps not weird at all)

I got the classic cheese steak for free when I signed up and allowed text notification or something like that and I’m so glad I did because it was delicious. I will order again and encourage anyone else to give it a try.
