First visit, sub was very good. Sub was hot and the fries were crisp. I got the Italian with sweet peppers. It didn’t seem to have any oil or anything on it so it was a little dry but it did have some flavor. If you like fries they are good here. It is worth a second visit from me.

I Just have to take a moment to recognize how amazing Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Located in Niles Ohio is! From the second we pulled in, you could tell this location truly takes pride in what they do. The manager was actually outside picking up garbage that others had left in the parking lot, and that alone spoke volumes. That kind of leadership shows how much they genuinely care about their atmosphere and the experience they create for their customers.
Inside, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and courteous. You could feel the positive energy right away. Everyone was attentive, helpful, and made us feel appreciated, and not rushed or like just another order.
And the food? Absolutely mouth watering. Fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. Every bite was delicious and you can tell they don’t cut corners. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you pause and say, “Wow.”
It’s rare to see a team that takes such pride in both their environment and their food, but this Capriotti’s location absolutely does. Highly recommend,we’ll definitely be back!

We were in the area and wanted some lunch so we stopped by to give it a try. My husband decided on the steak philly, I believe it was a small size and I got a chicken philly, mini size. We also got fries as well. The sandwiches were pretty tasty. The chicken one could have used more cheese and the mini is definitely tiny for sure! Our fries were really good but they were not done at the same time as our sandwiches due to the fryer not being turned on because they forgot when opening. Then the price….expense….$33.00. I’m glad it tasted good! No pictures to share but it was good but for what we got and the price, we won’t go again.

This place I am going to place in the middle. The subs lacked flavor for me. The hot pepers over powered the taste on the Italian sub. The turkey club you could honestly only taste the bacon. The turkey was flavorless and I had a bone in my turkey. It was a bit of a wait and the staff didn’t seem to enjoy each other’s company at all. Unless it is company rule for no talking.
The inside was kinda plain Jane but had plenty of seating that is if no one is waiting for their food because everyone waiting for food seemed to spread out the restaurant limiting seats for people actually wanting to dine in. Because they would not sit don’t so a family of 4 would be blocking 2-3 tables standing.
I would suggest to separate the waiting area and the dining room by adding some chairs over by the counter for people waiting to get their food and go and leave the tables open for other people.
I do want to come back and try this place again. Maybe I just wasn’t happy with my choices. It’s is definitely worth a second try. The bread is soft and good. The sandwiches themselves are filled.

Today was the first time trying this location, and will be the last time. We ordered two 4 inch subs, one cookie and one drink it was almost 25$.We checked out and asked for the cup for the drink the young lady tells me we didn’t order one. (We clearly did) oh well mistakes happen. We do another transaction for a small drink. Another 3$. A few moments later I checked my receipt from the first transaction and seen i was charged for a small fry i did not order 3.99. I go to the young lady again and tell her i did not order a small fry and id simply wanted the money back. She tells me i did order the fry… she was very rude for no reason. Another lady finally comes out to refund the money i was clearly overcharged. Doesn’t even apologize. So we get our subs.. we asked for oil on side and did not get it. I’ve worked in the togo service industry and understand how hard it can be at times but what I went through today is the reason people don’t go out. Long story short be more kind.

My husband and I went in there on 12/13 at noon. It was relatively steady but not busy. The food was good. My concern was with the girl working the grill. She made a comment loud enough for me to hear. She said “why are all these old people coming in here?” I didn’t realize that there was an age requirement to eat there. Further more, does she think about that when her paycheck is deposited into her bank. It really disgusted me. Age discrimination is real and it is literally just the same as being racist. Shame on this “young” girl for not being a better person. Sorry your mom did a poor job.
This is the second bad experience I’ve had here with rudeness. One time I ordered sandwiches to be picked up like two hours later. I call the store to have the onions and oregano removed off of one sandwich. She told me that they can pick them off. I literally called an hour before pick up time. Then when I did pick them up the bread on both was soggy.
So I probably won’t go back based on the employees.if those two girls aren’t there I’ll go.
Update: After not going to this establishment for a couple of months we decided to give it another try. We went on a Sunday afternoon. As we walked in everybody said welcome like they were supposed to. The woman who took our order didn’t want to be bothered with us. Just rude. Like she was doing us favor. Every response she had was short. She didn’t smile. She just wanted to get back to the conversation she was having with her coworker. Next customer in was the same thing. Then someone came in to pick up their order. She was nice to him. I don’t know who hires your people but it’s going to be the downfall of your business. Sorry but I’m not going to give money to a business that treats their customer like second class citizen. I debated if I should update my post. But after consideration and being a manager myself for over 20 years. I feel like whoever owns this place needs to know what’s going on. Because you don’t just have one bad apple here. I won’t be returning ever.

i’ve been to the store multiple times but i wanted to wait a few months before i left my review. the staff has improved a lot, service is becoming faster. overall you can definitely tell the staff is becoming comfortable. this place is incredible and a great place to eat.
