I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others: do not waste your time or money at this place if you’re expecting anything close to a real cheesesteak. I ordered a cheesesteak and was genuinely shocked when I opened it — there was barely any steak inside. It felt like they ran out of meat and tried to pass off scraps as a full sandwich.
For the price I paid, this was borderline insulting. Against my better judgement, I called to give them a chance to rectify the situation, and was told that’s the portion size and there’s nothing they could do. If you’re looking for an actual cheesesteak, look elsewhere. This place either doesn’t understand the concept or just doesn’t care. Save your appetite and your money.

We ordered a cheese steak with cheese and 1/2 onion. Nothing else.
Get home and it’s got mushrooms nope I can’t do them so I called and they come automatic on there steaks?? We’ll it’s NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Sick and TIRED OF THE EXCUSES FROM CAPS .
Orders keep getting screwed up there.
I’ll go to McDonald’s at least then I’ll get what I want. The 1 on Main st. in Newark isn’t much better had made orders at the counter and the cook there can’t read orders there as well.
My recommendation go somewhere else other than Capiotti’s.

Just picked up 4 subs. Two were
Large Turkey. This franchise has gone completely downhill. $22 for a large sub and basically it has zero turkey. All tomatoes and cheese. See pictures. This used to be a quality sub. It’s now a joke. Go elsewhere.

I love Capriotti’s Turkey. Unfortunately this location was a huge disappointment with barely any turkey. Fortunately the one by where I live is much better.

Ordered through uber eats. Turkey sandwich. Most of the meat Is dark turkey meat. That’s not what I’m looking for when I order a turkey sandwich. This is substandard on appearance and flavor. Do better. I had to take all the meat off to eat it as a BLT.

Capriotti’s always has great sandwiches and this time was no exception. Unfortunately the dining area is still closed here. I succumbed to the call of the cheesesteak and wasn’t sorry. If I had a complaint, it would be that I received a mushroom cheesesteak when I only ordered fried onions. Fortunately I’m not allergic and I like mushrooms.

I had a great sandwich, on their $10.99 lunch special (water and chips included). The equivalent of a roast beef special….I don’t remember the name – but it was delicious! The staff there were very friendly.

I’ve ordered from them twice and both times I got a roll with barely anything on it, I got a large and small steak sandwiches. After taking the meat from one half and put it on the other half. It still wasn’t as big as the place I usually go to and the price is Outrageous! I had to give the 1 star so I could post something, no quality control!!
