We tried a few different dishes, and everything was done thoughtfully and well. The eggplant parmesan appetizer was cooked just right–the eggplant itself was perfectly tender, not mushy and not underdone, which is harder to get right than it sounds.
The pizza was excellent. Well-balanced toppings, and I especially enjoyed the chunks of garlic and the balsamic glaze, which added depth without overpowering the rest of the flavors.
The pasta was also spot on, and the added grilled chicken was nicely prepared–well seasoned, and a good complement to the sauce rather than an afterthought.
The service really stands out…. very attentive overall! We look forward to returning and trying out more items on the menu.
Thank you and keep up the great work!
The appetizers were delicious, we tried the meatballs and arancini. Can’t go wrong with either. The provided bread was also delicious!
For the main course, we tried the chicken parmesan, lasagna, and shrimp diavolo. The shrimp diavolo was divine and the lasagna I am still drooling over.
Capped it off with tiramisu for dessert. Overall food was good, but it’s the service and ambiance that took the rating from a 4 to a 5. Can’t wait to return.
We shared a bottle of wine, shared a Caprese salad and each had an entree. Their Lasagne was very fresh and Chicken Piccata was tender and flavorful..
We will definitely go back, as the service was attentive without beiing overbearing, And the food was as flavorful as!
We were too full to get dessert but they had a nice selection of favorites including Taramisu.
We had reservations(which we recommend) but there is a full bar(first come first serve) if you have to wait.
Plenty of valet parking…free if you don’t tip.
We enjoyed our experience and will go back.
We had dinner at the new Capriccio’s in Solon on Saturday night, and I have to say, it lived up to the anticipation. I’d been eager to check it out—especially since my friend Michael is a partner in the restaurant—and it did not disappoint. We were in town from California and are spoiled with great restaurants.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with that cozy,, trattoria vibe that makes you feel right at home. The open pizza oven was turning out some incredible-looking pies all around us, but we decided to go the entrée route instead.
We started with the meatballs, which were absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. A must-order appetizer. For mains, I went with the chicken piccata alongside a side of bucatini tossed in a garlicky olive oil sauce. It was rich, simple, and perfectly balanced. My brother had the chicken parmesan, which was equally fantastic, served with a side of rigatoni that he couldn’t stop raving about.
The cocktails were well-made (maybe a little too generous with the pour—but no complaints there), and prices were very reasonable for the quality and atmosphere.
Overall, Capriccio’s is a hit—great food, friendly service, and a comfortable, lively space that makes you want to come back. Can’t wait for round two.
