I ate the most delicious egg and cheese sandwich in multi grain bread I’ve ever tasted. The coffee was just how I wanted it. The location was spectacular –in the middle of picture-perfect Philadelphia streets. And the price is cheaper than I thought it would be!

Visiting Philly for the weekend for an event and we thought we’d give this place a go. Unfortunately our experience was anything but pleasant. There is a specific employee here who is aggressive and incredibly rude to customers. Upon reading other reviews I was sorry to see that others have had the same experience with her. The owner needs to read these reviews and take action. The food was decent, the look of the place is great and the other employees were doing their jobs but for some reason one employee seemed incredibly bothered by customers and not happy to do her job. Time for her to move on. Would not recommend coming here at this time unfortunately.

The food was great, the coffee was great but the employee ruined the experience. We entered the coffee shop and I could already hear the employee giving attitude to the people in front of us. I tried to be nice, but we were met with the same and so were the people behind us. It appeared as if anything we wanted was an incredible chore for her. After reading a few other reviews it seems this has been going on for a while. Overall I won’t be back, which is too bad because the location and food was great.

My friend was in town and I wanted to show her around philly and she was so excited to come in this place. I don’t usually write negative reviews but this lady needed me to write something. She approached us with a very hostile attitude . She needs to take a class on how to talk to people and simply leave this place. If you can’t handle talking to people or don’t have the patient then your in the wrong industry because people are going to simply APPROACH you . We are human as well it doesn’t take anything to be kind and no need to spread your misery on people

What a disappointment. The food and coffee was great but the service was horrible. My aunt and I stopped in for coffee and muffins quarter till noon. The server ignored us for a while “cleaning.” The rudely asked if she can help us all with bad attitude like she hates life, herself and everyone around her. I asked for mocha but got cappuccino. We sat down to eat and drink and she still served coffee in paper cups instead of regular cups. Just unusually bad service. Bad enough to not eat to come back.

We didn’t try the food yet but Nikki/Nicki (sorry I forgot to ask how it’s spelled!) at the bar was beyond fantastic. Friendly, incredibly fast and efficient, with personality for years! 10/10 service, will be coming back for coffee and the food. Pastries look wonderful.

I really like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to take kids and just take in the view. The drinks and foods were all tasty thanks to Nicole… I hope I spelled it correctly. She is the reason why I come back again and again. Thee best barista I’ve ever met. She made my son and my drinks to perfection. He still talks about it to this day. I went one day when she was not there and the service was horrible from the time we walked in. The barista had an horrible attitude. We left as soon as we felt her energy. Tell Nicole to work everyday PLEASE. If you’re up for great drinks, laughs, and great service, only visit when Nicole is there. If she’s not…. RUN!

Horrible. Expensive. And very bad service. The cappuccino was cold and not a cappuccino at all just coffe and milk. As they were giving me the coffee they ask me to pay even though I had already paid when I placed the order. No wonder there’s nobody ever here. Cinnamon roll below average, same with the chocolate croissant. The view is gorgeous though
