Since then they have left a legacy for thier children to keep their memory, and their delicious recipes alive. Capri Xpress is an extension of the Capri Ristorantes. Capri was wonderful! It is a very small and intimate restaurant with outstanding food and service. While I should have gotten the hostess name, he was amazingly on top of his restaurant. He was accommodating and kept us very happy. Even with a reservation you will most likely have to wait on a table but it is so worth it! You can’t even be upset about the wait after snacking on their garlic bread bits with their broken up meatball with gravy appetizer that comes to your table after you sit down. The atmosphere is as vibrant as their food and the service is outstanding. They don’t sell alcohol so byo if you want something other than water or pop, we brought wine naturally. Next time, we will dine during the weekday.

Our family just had the most wonderful dinner at Capri Express in Lemont, and we simply had to share our experience. Dining out can often be a source of stress for us because our daughter deals with food anxiety. Italian food is usually a safe bet, but even then, the menu can feel overwhelming for her.
From the moment we walked in, Andy and his incredible team were a breath of fresh air. Andy was incredibly patient, giving us ample time to decide (more than once!) and even offering to create dishes not on the menu to ensure our daughter found something she’d love. We never once felt rushed, which is so rare and truly a gift in today’s fast-paced world.
And the food? Absolutely outstanding! Every dish was excellent, but those meatballs… coming from someone who only eats her mom’s meatballs, I can tell you they were amazing!
The service was exceptional in every single way. To Andy and the Capri Express team, thank you for making dinner a joyful, stress-free experience for our anxiety-driven family. We genuinely appreciate it and can’t wait to see you again very soon!

I found this hidden gem in an area I come to weekly but never noticed until now. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in a while. Andy, the owner, treats you like family. The food is homemade and so delicious, you’ll want to keep coming back to try everything on the menu. Delicious food. Friendly service. And desserts that will keep you coming back for more!

Wanted to put negative stars but it wouldn’t allow me. I frequent the Dunkin Donuts attached to Capri and their back area is DISGUSTING!!! Garbage everywhere, crates/boxes all over the place. If this is what their back door area looks like, I’d hate to see the kitchen that’s hidden away from view…

Capri Express is a hidden gem! I didn’t know exactly what to expect but oh what a wonderful dining experience. Andrea (the owner) is so welcoming and friendly during the entire time you are there it made me feel like I was eating and hanging out with a personal friend at his home. The food is amazing. Every dish was so flavorful and presentation was excellent. Everything is homemade and they also have Gluten Free options as well! My husband and I will be dining here from now on for our date nights. I highly recommend this quaint Italian Restaurant.
