After wanting to dine here for quite some time, we finally made it there. I’m so glad we did. We made a reservation to be sure we could get in. As I turns out, we were the only diners at 6:30pm on a Friday. After speaking with our server, she indicated August is a slow month – so we have no fear of the restaurant closing any time soon. Good thing, because the experience was excellent. We ate outside in gorgeous weather, watching the world go by while we enjoyed tender and perfectly cooked Calamari. The Chicken Capri and Pappardelle Bolognese were excellent. We normally take home leftovers but both myself and my dining companion finished everything. Keishla was attentive and a pleasure. We will definitely dine here again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Believe it or not, this has nothing to do with the cob webs that were all over the place and questionable cleanliness when we went! I had booked my rehearsal dinner with Capri when they were a wine bar. Imagine my surprise when I randomly see on Instagram that they have completely rebranded and redesigned the restaurant to be a sports bar. Painted the interior black, changed the menu, even completed the space with some dart boards, a pool table, and beer decor. Not ONCE did they let me know about this change. I felt it was completely warranted that I get my $500 deposit back as this was far from the appropriate vibe for a rehearsal dinner and never was I even given the courtesy of letting me know their restaurant was changing. I have since reached out via email multiple times and left multiple voicemails without reply. I then messaged them on instagram asking for their contact, which they very promptly replied to because they weren’t aware who I was. I confirmed the event coordinator was the same woman and email was the same. She has just been ignoring me. I then replied and told them to reply and asked they give me my deposit back and (shocker) they went MIA. Horrible business practices, I bet that if I didn’t reach out to them and never saw about this change on Instagram, I would have showed up for my rehearsal dinner to discover this mess. Don’t give them a cent of your money, they have plenty more than they deserve from holding my hundreds of dollars hostage 🙂

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times now. This is a great go to downtown for Cocktails and appetizers. I would recommend the Brussel sprouts and the calamari. The strawberry salad is always a favorite too with the crispy shrimp.
The staff are friendly but If you are in a rush and don’t have time to enjoy the atmosphere; than this might now be for you. Chill vibes and great drinks.

Came here for the first time with two friends for dinner and what a incredible surprise. The food was so fresh and delicious. Every dish was devoured! Artichoke and shrimp appetizers were gone before we could take a picture of them! Great place on East Avenue.

Wife and I split some boom boom sauce wings. They were good! Was quiet for 6 pm on a Saturday. Living in Rochester my whole life… Although this area is “relatively safe” (especially in comparison to other parts of the city) it’s less safe than it was twenty years ago. Shouting match out front, noisy kids racing bikes, our car was stolen in the nearby hotel parking lot in broad daylight. Our server was excellent though. Would definitely need more employees visible to address safety and service if later in the evening. When we walked back by it later in the evening it was busier with folks enjoying the pool table area.

Hubby and I went to capri for my birthday dinner last night and it did not disappoint!!! Cutest atmosphere —not too loud —food (ribeye, arancini, sweet and spicy shrimp and Caesar salad) was out of this world!!! We had the sweetest server and we ended the night with the tiramisu! A wonderful evening — will be back with friends and family! Sorry couldn’t get a pic of the tiramisu before it was GONE! Delicious!!

This sports bar cannot be recommended less. The prior restaurant, Capri Wine Bar, was reserved (early 2024) for our wedding rehearsal dinner (late 2025). They failed to notify us of the rebrand and have blatantly ignored a multitude of attempts to reclaim our lost $500 deposit. They ignored emails, phone calls, and Instagram DMs. Complete snakes looking to hang onto our money with zero regard to do what is right.
