First off…this place is a barn in the middle of the city, so it’s a little unusual in looks. The parking lot consists of just a few spaces. I had been trying to try this place for quite some time, but can never catch them open. Even though they have posted times, they do not observe them at all. I ordered the sandwich of a bacon egg and cheese add bologna and mayo. It was definitely tasty. They do not offer a military discount.

Wife and I came in Tuesday May 17th 2022 around 8:30am for breakfast. We have been here a couple times and the food is pretty good.

I have had the basic breakfast with eggs over medium, bacon, grit and biscuit. I also had the same breakfast another time with sausage. Both were cheap and good. 2 small issues I had the last time we were there: the sausage was very dry and the grits were like soup. I don’t understand why people can’t make fluffy/thick grits (this is Georgia!). Otherwise the food was good. They made fresh coffee which was excellent.

My wife had the steak biscuit once and grits the next time; she liked the steak biscuit but couldn’t eat the grits.

Food is of good quantity for the price and the staff is always friendly and professional.

I’d give a 5 star but the grits have got to be better otherwise I’ll have to go to the other diner on the square for my breakfast.

This restaurant is a great gem right across from the Cartersville High School and in close proximity to downtown Cartersville. The prices and portions are great conpared to traditional chain restaurants and your food is made fresh to order. From made from scratch biscuits and gravy to thick hand pattied cheeseburgers and daily specials this place has something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Especially Sam the owner. She is very helpful and also usually prepares the dinner for the local American Legion Post 42 monthly meeting. My family has been coming here for 9 years now and love it here. You feel like family when you’re eating here.

I love eating at this place but every time we come usually on a Saturday morning they are closed! There hours clear state mon to fr 6 to 2 and Saturday 6 to 12:30! This is like the 5 TJ time my husband and I have drove to Cartersville to eat here and no one is there and doers are locked not even a sign on the door with an explanation! Needless to say we will not be making this drive any longer! Do better Capri! Do better!

Best breakfast ever! Bacon, sausage, eggs and blueberry pancakes were delicious. A girl in the kitchen was singing with a beautiful voice. Great experience!!!

Nice, cozy little diner, with a decent breakfast at a good price. The food was pretty standard with choices of pancakes, biscuits, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Our total bill for 3 breakfast was around $20.

The service was also good and our 2 year old tore up the silver dollar pancakes. The only real complaint we had was the bacon, which was pretty salty and a little too crispy for our liking. However, i do know people who like their bacon exactly this way, so chalk it up to personal preference.

We’ll be back if we’re in town for breakfast again.

We love this place. The food is yummy, wide selection of breakfast or lunch. Staff is friendly, Samantha (Sam) waited on us and she is very good, she even shared a dessert recipe that she makes, apple-cheese cake cobbler. It is a family favorite. Whether you order breakfast or lunch you can’t go wrong here. We stop by every chance we get.
