My impression is this is the type of place you like if you grew up coming here. If you go as an adult under retirement age, you’re going to be underwhelmed. It wasn’t terrible. It wasn’t great. It wasn’t anything I would say “let’s go back there!”.
Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight – service was fine, the food came out in a reasonable time and order correct. Everything was just sort of bland. The dough for the pizza is something like Joe Corbi’s but not as good. Toppings that could have been fresh, were canned.
It’s not a bad place. But there are better options. If I had to recommend anything to an owner reading this, would be to invest in a cleaner finish ambiance and don’t be afraid to use fresh vegetables on the pizza.
There were lots of older patrons in here, so maybe that’s just who it’s catered towards…I’m not sure. But I doubt we will return.

I’ve been coming to capris since I was a little girl that’s been over 20 years and the quality has never changed! I always get the steak and cheese Stromboli and it never fails to be amazing! I love the staff they always remember me no matter how long it’s been defined a rare jewl of a restaurant

I stopped eating here over two years ago. The food has become very substandard and greatly overpriced. The furnishings are outdated and in bad condition and the carpet should be removed because it is old, worn out and soiled. Staff and management do not properly clean the facility. They seem to keep it dimly lit so patrons do not notice how unclean it is. Management and staff are disinterested, rude and shady. I am confident they reuse leftovers as “fresh made” food. The last time I tried to eat food from there, I declined the three sandwiches I had ordered over the phone because they looked very skimpy and not fresh. On that visit I pointed out that two dead Palmetto bugs were just inside the entrance door and the waitress told me they were short staffed. How long does it take to sweep up two dead insects? This place should be allowed to go out of business so a good Italian restaurant can move in.

I can’t say enough good things about the lasagna!!! I don’t know what kind of ancestral magic they put in the red sauce but it’s absolutely delicious. I order this dish every time and it’s enough for 2 meals for me

Had it delivered to my home off of door dash. Maybe we expected too much from an “Italian” restaurant.. Im not sure what happened.
When you think of garlic bread with cheese, you probably expect something a lil like pizza huts garlic bread with cheese. Not this place! You get a few big slices of, i think, wheat bread, with slices of not great cheese. When you think of a salad, you probably think, lettuce, tomato, maybe some onion, possibly some dressing even.. Nope you get just a box of lettuce.. Maybe a single cucumber (my husband was lucky enought to get a cucumber in his lettuce).
So we get to the entrees. I got the “pasta with other sauce” (really its just fettuccini Alfredo with chicken).. Super greasy. Otherwise tolerable. Husband got a “lasagna”………. It was bland, the cheese was the same nasty cheese that was on the bread.. It was just not good pasta..
I would like to say they tried… But i feel like they didnt take the time to make sure we had a good meal. Might give it one more try just to make sure it was really they best theyve got. But ill need to give it some time..

We ordered two servings of spaghetti with meat sauce and each received 2 slices of bread with a small salad. The salad had a iceberg lettuce that looked like it was not chopped, 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 cucumbers cut so thick they could have been cut into 4, and a small cup of creamy ranch dressing. Spaghetti with meat sauce: The sauce was cooked sepetately and placed on top. Cooking the sauce with the pasta would have infused it with flavor. The spaghetti slid off the fork like it was overcooked and tasted bland like it was cooked in unseasoned water. The atmosphere is cozy with booths and warm wood walls. They have an open kitchen and the staff is friendly. We may have experienced lower quality because we ordered later in the day. I will give Capri a second chance because of the friendly staff. I will update my review once I do.
