We just arrived from Texas and were looking for a truly authentic Italian experience and we found it here. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredible. The music, the energy, the smells from the kitchen everything felt genuine and full of life.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the family. They were more than just welcoming they were inviting, warm, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. It didn’t feel like we were just customers; it felt like we were sitting at a family table.
And the food absolutely did not disappoint. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. This wasn’t just dinner it was an experience. If you want authentic Italian pizza with real heart behind it, this is the place.

This pizza crust was crisp just like I remember. from the Boardwalk, when I was younger. Soon, my order came out with a display of bubbling mozzarella cheese and real Italian sausage/pepperoni slices. It was baked to perfection!!As I took a bit, the cheese oozed out from all sides, The burst of flavor in my mouth sufficed all the cravings, I had for weeks. Our waitress was very sweet and the owner greeted as if we were old friends. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. You’ll love the food and the service here this I know for sure!!

I do not have one complaint. The food was phenomenal. It was like eating with a family. Even though it was a pizzeria, the owner Rocco fabulous personality. He made you feel right at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good Pizza. Good company. And a good time

So this place has the best pizza in South Jersey buuuutttttt I had ordered two pizzas two weeks ago and when the delivery driver dropped off the pizzas the cheese was all on one side of the pies. I called Capri and the young lady too all my information down, phone number and address. She also noticed I come here a lot. She said I had a credit of two pizzas for the drivers mishap. I called back to weeks later to redeem the credits and the owner did not want to honer it. I can deal with bad food but bad costumer service is a no go for me. Won’t be back ever!!! And I won’t refer anyone to this place as I used to refer EVERYONE that asked about a great pizza.

First time coming to Capri Pizza. Where we were greeted by Trish ☺️- she made our experience that much better. She had Such a nice comforting personality when she greeted us and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. My fiancé and I enjoyed our own two little personal pizzas. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy more off the menu .

Owner Rocco creates an amazing atmosphere and has a unique personality making everyone feel at home. Rocco has been making pizza for over 50 years. Great location, causal dining, fabulous homestyle italian food and the pizza is always top notch.

I’m not writing this review to destroy their business – nothing like that- and to be fair I know people who rave about their pizza,but this food was pretty abysmal. We spent $51 without the tip, and we are throwing it all away, so I want to save someone from the same situation.
The calamari soaked in the sauce like that just ruined it. Deliver it with the sauce on the side, no one wants mushy half breaded anything ever. The marsala, with “homemade” fettuccine was just bad. The fettuccine didn’t appear homemade,which would be fine if we didn’t pay extra for it. The noodles tasted like they sat in a watered down sauce with just the slightest bit of watery flavor on them , and the chicken tasted just slightly better. The chicken parm, man- in Jersey no one has an excuse to serve a chicken parm this bad. The sauce tasted like it was poured out of a can , not a marinara jar, but a can of tomato sauce. Not one drop of seasoning, one cut up tomato- nothing. It was terrible, and usually the cheese should be shoved under a broiler( which I attempted to do prior to eating it, but abandoned it after tasting a noodle) to get bubbly and tasty, this is plain white. We tasted a bite of each thing and just tossed the whole meal.
They delivered super quickly,which is wonderful -and why I gave two stars-but the food was just not good. There are too many other places that take longer to deliver, but the food will taste better, might be cold, but I’d prefer that over any of these meals.
