Just finished eating at Capri pizza and it was delicious! The pizza is an exact texture and taste of a New York pizza! I believe the person we were talking to was the owner and a fellow Bronx native we loved his energy and patience with our group of 12! 10/10 would come here again!

We ordered a Sicilian drunk grandpa pie and my husband picked it up last night at 8 by time we drove home half hour away we opened it and it was a Sicilian with marinara sauce and we paid for the vodka sauce! They close at 8:30 so we were stuck with it! We only had a few bites because it was the greasiest and most flimsy Sicilian I have ever had! I wound up cooking There was no taste to it at all. Also ordered wings they weren’t that bad but our first time experience will be our last ♀️

Truly love this place. We usually get takeout on Fridays, but tonight we decided to go out and spend some family time together. The best pizza around (everything else is scrumptious too). Pretty good slice of pizza. Better than average, especially outside of NYC. I liked the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place. Saw a lot of people coming in and picking up food, seems like most are taking their food to-go, so that makes it comfortable to sit inside.

Awesome NY style pizza. We got a fresh large cheese pizza, and ate half of it immediately in the shop.
Delicious.
Sauce is nice and tasty with a bit of tang, tastes like real tomatoes.
Cheese was just what you want from an American style pizza, melty with a nice pull to it.
Crust was soft with a nice bit of toasted crunch, even to tips of the slices.

Best Pizza in the Poconos and no place can top it!!!!! Authentic New York City style pizza!!!!! Eating here brought back so much nostalgia. The crust was thin and crispy! The cheese was perfect- the sauce heavenly!!!! This restaurant is the real deal. As a native New Yorker I certify the authenticity of the pizza here. I am so happy I decided to stop in when I was passing through the area. The meatballs are also made fresh daily and are absolutely delicious! Only the best places carry Boars Head deli meats- and this place has it. If you are in the Pocono area- stop what ever you are doing and stop in! You will not be disappointed! Tell them- Mariana sent you! Happy eating!!!!!!!!!!!

My partner and I visited Capri Pizza today. We ordered a Sicilian pizza and an order of nuggets with fries. Our total came out to about $43. Which from past experience, was a bit on the pricer side. Upon first glance our pizza looks delicious and cheesy, however after the first bite, we noticed it was mostly dough. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, we recommend you visit this establishment.
