My partner & I were craving Italian food (mostly lasagna) after a visit to Filoli Gardens. This place caught our eye as it was more affordable than other Italian restaurants. What a great choice we made! The food was so delicious, the interior design is gorgeous (we felt like we were on a date night), and our waitress Esra was phenomenal. She took care of us very well & added to this memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back soon & I’ll bring my family this time!

Tried this lasagna spot and overall had a great experience. We ordered the gnocchi fritto, meatballs, and the chicken vodka sauce lasagna. The gnocchi fritto was super satisfying to chew. The meatballs ended up being my favorite; really flavorful, and the sauce was perfect for dipping bread. The lasagna tasted good, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side. Our waitress was kind, and while the service could’ve been a little more attentive, everything still flowed well. Overall, solid meal.

Solid Italian restaurant. Walked in on a Fri night with a party of 2 and was seated immediately. It’s a very small restaurant (indoor seating only) and they seemed somewhat busy. They started us off with some complimentary bread which was fresh and tasty. We ordered the lobster ravioli (daily special) $32 and sausage lasagna $24. Ravioli was delicious. Lasagna was good as well, but just very salty. The pastas were high quality and housemade. Portions and prices were reasonable. Service was decent. Worth a try

Very cute Italian restaurant that is right off of Burlingame Avenue. My husband and son had different types of lasagna (quattro formaggi and pollo alla vodka) and they were both delicious. I ordered an item off the special menu which was a mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce. The sauce was extraordinary delicious. It is a small establishment that does not take reservations but if you come early it shouldn’t be a problem and if not, you might have to wait a few minutes. I would recommend a visit here.

The place is really cute and the service was excellent. The free focaccia was delicious and the olive oil high quality. I had the misto salad and it was perfect. BUT the lasagna was seriously disappointing. No flavor – the bolognese was all meat, no ragú, the noodles were mushy- and no cheese inside or visible bechamel (maybe I misread the description?). Tiramisu was also very good. So everything BUT the lasagna- I noticed that the folks on other tables also did not eat theirs, nor did my dining partner.

Capri Lasagneria is a perfect restaurant for a casual outing. In the evening, the restaurants soft orange neon lights warm up the interior, and it’s clean and relaxed design feels straight out of casual eateries in Italy. The menu is streamlined, and the lasagnas take center stage. We ordered the bolongnese lasagna and the alfredo fettucine. We expected the bolognese to be tasty (and it was) but the alfredo fettucine with spinach and mushrooms was so creamy, velvety and fresh, it surprised me. This is the kind of place where you want to save the bread to soak up the sauces.

Service was very attentive. Esra was welcoming, friendly, and gracious sharing details about the specials and lasagnas. She ran an efficient service, checking in and having us feel comfortable. Also, their tiramisu is deliciously moist and light, allowing the chocolate, cream and coffee flavors to compliment each other.

Highly recommend this place if in the area.

I would like to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant last night regarding the reservation process and customer service.
Before arriving, we called the restaurant to make a reservation. The staff member who answered told us to make a reservation through Yelp. I explained that Yelp was not allowing us to book, which was the reason we called directly. She then told us that she would put us in the system and that our table would be ready in about 20 minutes, which worked perfectly for our drive to the restaurant.
However, when we arrived and informed the hostess that we had a reservation, she immediately told us that the restaurant does not take reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. I even showed her the sms confirmation from my phone. This was very confusing and frustrating because we had just spoken with someone who confirmed our reservation over the phone.
As a result, we arrived expecting a table to be ready, only to find out that no reservation existed. We were dining with a child, so the unexpected wait made the situation even more difficult.
I understand that restaurants can be busy, but clear and consistent communication is very important. If reservations are not accepted, this should have been communicated honestly during the phone call. The conflicting information made us feel misled and disappointed with the service experience.
I hope management can review this situation with the staff to prevent similar misunderstandings for future guests.

So disappointing. Small portions for the price and void of any flavor. Genuinely concerned I had covid the way I could not taste anything.

The meat quality in the ragu was very poor and dry.

The pasta had a good texture.

I wish I could give more stars. Yelp needs to create a new category for restaurants like this. My family ate here for the first time last night . We are regulars at Mykonos Meze and when we heard it was the same owners and being pasta lovers we had to try it. Every single thing we ate here from the fried gnocchi to the 4 different lasagnas we ordered were extraordinary. My sister who is a very critical diner also loved it and we joke that she never likes anything. My wife had the four cheese lasagna with Gorgonzola something I would not think to order and the first bite I tasted was supernatural. Crispy noodle edges from home made paper thin layers of pasta. Creamy and bam and explosion of flavor. But super rich probably best to be shared . I am a lover of vodka sauce and being from NYC I’ve had the best including Via Carota and Carbone and Felix in LA. This was as good if not better . Firm hand made rigatoni and phenomenal sauce. And I like that you can build a pasta dish any way you want it . My sister got meatballs which I’ve never seen on a menu with vodka sauce but it was terrific. We ordered every desert on the menu and the chocolate mousse and tiramisu were delicious . The service was like you would expect from restaurateurs with such high standards. Great service with warmth and humor and charm and we never felt rushed even with a line of people waiting. My wife and I plan on going back next weekend for date night. It’s a small space so get there early or book a table early. Best Italian in the peninsula
