Very authentic homemade italian dishes served here. I have met the owner every time I have dined here. Everything is attention to detail, and feels very european in the service given. This means it is attentive service, but the food has to cooked to order to be fresh so there is a delay. I don’t know why the place isn’t packed at every meal time. The prices are in line with upper level chain restaurants without even close to the quality level of this establishment.

Service was good until main course food was brought out. We had a party of 8, 4 were served then 5-10 mins later 3 more were brought out. Then the final plate was brought out another 5-10 mins later. I understand that maybe they wanted to get it out fresh but the delay was disappointing since the last plate was just spaghetti and meatballs. It was so hot too, it couldn’t be eaten until it cooled a bit. Unfortunately the person the got the last plate and by the time it cooled, it was time to leave so they just had it boxed. Otherwise food was good. I was lucky that my food was in the first group.

Some of the best made-from-scratch food you will ever taste. Very affordable wine bottles. Desserts are superb!

I went in last night because I’ve heard good things about the place. The building is amazing, that old Villa feel with a magnificent mansion look. I went to the bar because I had been told that he’s the best bartender in the area. He did not disappoint. My dinner rolls were amazing. I took his lead on what to order and was not disappointed at all. The owner came over and spoke with me, made me feel welcome, even though it was a little later and his brother Mike walked me out the door. The best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Will return.

This place could really be something special for our small town. While the atmosphere of the building was fantastic, the service was terrible and the food was even worse. We had a party of 6. 3 couples. Our waitress was physically present, but mentally… probably in Italy. It’s too bad she couldn’t provide the authentic Italian food we were hoping for. We waited for over an hour for our food. 3 people ordered drinks from the bar. One drink had an ice cube the size of the glass in it and nobody was ever asked if they wanted more. Our food was placed in front of the wrong people, bland, small portions, meatballs that looked and tasted like they came from the freezer, tough and tasteless chicken, salad that tasted bitter… I could keep going. Our waitress didn’t ask us how we would like our bill. Just brought us one check and put it down in front of whomever she wanted without saying a word. We had to catch her to ask her for 3 separate bills. Her response, “This is going to take me a while.” We split it up for her because she didn’t know who ordered what meals. Aside from the good company that we brought with us… everything about this experience was lacking.

We hosted a 50th anniversary party and this establishment. Lisa was very helpful with coordinating the event. The space was nice and open, the service and food were excellent. Would recommend this place for larger groups wanting to enjoy Italian cuisine.

Pasta and appetizer were excellent. We had very attentive and kind service. I loved the atmosphere. It was quite classy for the price point. A great place to impress a date without breaking the bank.

Also… wine prices by the bottle are incredibly reasonable.

Everything from food to service was excellent. The limoncello and lemon cake are a must try. Be aware if group dining that they do not split checks

Walking into Capri on a snowy Indiana night feels like someone opened a portal straight to the Amalfi Coast. The second the door swings shut behind you, the host belts out a heartfelt “Buona sera!” and you know you are in the right place. Before you even sit down, a cold glass of Falanghina is in your hand. That alone is worth five stars.
The room is pure cozy Italian magic: brick walls, crackling fireplace, white lights twinkling like the Bay of Naples at night, and a little citrus tree in the corner that makes the whole place smell like Sorrento in December.
Food? Ridiculous (in the best way).
• Seared Hokkaido scallops: golden outside, buttery-rare inside, on silky corn purée with aged balsamic and crispy guanciale. Paired with that Falanghina, every bite is sunshine and sea salt.
• Iberico pork chop: milk-braised, grilled smoky, glazed with apple mostarda and a touch of Calabrian heat, then showered with fresh parsley. Stupidly juicy. We fought over the bone.
Service is warm, fast, and full of stories (our server even told us about his nonna’s version of the pork chop). Prices are fair for the quality; you leave full, happy, and already planning the next visit.
Capri isn’t just the best Italian in northern Indiana; it’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home. Pure comfort, pure flavor, pure love. 10/10, five bright stars, see you next week.

Terrible waitress, terrible overpriced food. The food i eat at home is better and faster and I am not the one that cooks. The portions are small and they dont even know how to cook chicken. It was thinly sliced and dry. Please save yourself the hassle and make spaghetti at your house with sauce from a can. It will be better I promise. Oh and if you were thinking of going there for drinks it will be filled with a giant square ice cube taking up the whole glass. But that atmosphere is nice. Maybe it should be a hangout place without food or drink. This place sucks!
