About the getting into the restaurant, entrance door should be pulled to go in (I can imagine how hard to close it on a windy day). More lights between the parking lot to the restaurant. It was really dark especially around the unpaved area; more light along the path would be really nice.
OMG…Best meal adventure we’ve had in all of Champaign County. Wow…
Chef Sanchez is an absolute genius with flavor and expression creating an amazing, True, farm to table experience. Gorgeous plating. Perfect portion sizes & the service was EXCEPTIONAL. Incredible Holiday drink menu with attention to detail & aesthetically captivating. We took zero photos as I just wanted to relax and Enjoy. We were absolutely spoiled on our 20th Anniversary and can’t wait to come back! Now digging into my Everything Bagel Goat Cheese!!
My personal favorite was the Hokkaido scallops, but we weren’t a fan of the BBQ carrots. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages, mocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. I loved the In the Loop cocktail, and for a non-alcoholic option, the matcha lemonade 10/10!
A great small local spot to support plus a great farm-to-table dining experience ❤️
I started off with the Pineapple Death cocktail (photo) with a slice of died pineapple on top.
With dinner they served my favorite Italian wine, Barbera. Then Summer Squash Carpaccio with parmigiano reggiano and chevre mousse made of goat milk. I never liked goat milk until I came here. Now I love it.
Then I had Ocean Harvest Pasta with squid ink bugatini, purple pasta, a joy to eat with blue crab, lobster and scallops, and creme fraiche made from goat milk.
To finish I could not pass on the Chocolate Pot de Creme of chocolate mousse, flavored whipped cream and nuts.
I will remember this meal for many years.
The food was delicious and we had no issue with anything else. We had a reservation and were seated immediately with water and menus just before our reserved time.
Can’t wait for the next experience.
