We weren’t sure about doing anything for NYE this year but when I saw our friends band was playing at Cappy’s it was kind of a done deal. They always have a minimal cover and table reservations were really reasonable. Plus full menu available for the evening.

Always start with the Onion Chips and yummy dip. I totally love the Hot Veggie Hoagie here, with my personal modifications, one of my favorite sandwiches period! My condiments were on the side for some reason but no big deal.

This is one of the top 3 places in town my husband likes to get wings from. This time he opted for the super spicy Ragin’ Cajun BBQ and a usual Apricot Bourbon Blast. He decided to pay extra for Grilled which he said was absolutely the way to go! It came out in a different denomination than how he ordered it but again not that big of a deal.

Our first drinks were perfect, I ordered another and it was completely different. My husband took it to the bar and had it remade. I was wondering what was going on because I’m usually praising this staff for their attention to detail. Our ticket when we went to settle our bill had several instructions that did not match our order so that explained it. Plus it was the first time ever I was charged 10 bucks for Diet Dr. Pepper. The last of which I didn’t ask for nor drink. Towards the end of the night our server stopped coming round so we ordered at the bar.

This is one of our favorite, close to home places to hang out. Food was great, drinks were great, band was fantastic as always. I think next time we will just insist on one of our usual servers.

Been a minute since we’ve eaten at Cappy’s. Husband wanted wings and on Wednesday they are 90 Cents!

Started with a side of Onion Chips and yummy dip. I love the Veggie Hoagie here, they always accommodate my alterations. Top 3 sandwiches in town for me. Beer battered fries were perfect!

He decided he needed a bajillion wings. He took most of the Parmesan Garlic home to the kids. Loves the spicy Apricot Bourbon, Mango Habanero, and Pineapple Blaze. Said they are usually a bit crispier and needed to go for another couple minutes this time but this is still one of his favorite places for wings.

Service is always great here and that evening Kelsey was no exception! We showed up in the middle of Trivia Night and although we didn’t officially participate it was still fun to play along!

Had some wings today. They were ok, only complaint I have is about the price. Once a while I have your wings and fries but this time I got charged full price on a Wednesday wing night 99c per wing × 15+ fries. $20 no fries and the bartender looked at me like, What,no tip. Bish. It took 30 min to fry up mediocre wings you forgot my fries and overcharged me and it’s to go. I’ll be going to Rosi’s from now on. At least they don’t scam people.

The thia peanut wings are the best!!! I sat at the bar and service was excellent. There was a live show that night, which was a wonderful surprise. It did get a little loud and crowded but there was enough room for everyone.

Ordered some food from them on Uber eats and it was the best takeout I’ve had in ages! The onion chips were perfect and the peanut butter bacon burger was amazing! Will be ordering again ☺️

Terry is best around, sorry for the folks who don’t get him their 1st time. If you don’t get the Char wings, you’re missing out, and don’t skip lunch hours, I’m sure music and weekends are really cool, but it is just a good sit spot with good food.

Typical bar and grill food and atmosphere. Best nite ever is playing Singo. Yummy option for appetizers is Gizzards.

The food is great! Peanut butter hamburger try it. Great sweet potato fries, too. They need nicer and more friendly waitresses.

Went yesterday for early dinner and I was kinda disappointed. They have awesome atmosphere, bartenders, and servers even live music setting up but my bartender, tall brunette woman, practically ghosted and talked to other customers and coworkers after taking my food order probably because I didn’t order alcohol. The 2 gentlemen bartenders were great and helped me without hesitation. The server who brought my salad, she was sweet enough though.
Sirloin steak, toast, pickle and Dr. Pepper were great but the potatoes & gravy portion was small though good tasting. Side salad was basic iceberg lettuce but good. The veggie (originally I was told corn) came out green beans and they were cold and not completely cooked. All served in very cheap plastic bowls and flatware. That’s kind of a downer.

All in all, an okay experience but would have been great if not for the lacking service, misinformation, and subpar food performance. I’ll probably come back won’t if the experience isn’t better next time.

Side note: The military veteran bartender and the bouncer for the event were great to talk to. Awesome guys. Main reason why I’d come back.

Cappy’s NYR ’24.
SUPER FUN night. Service was great for how crowded it was. Fully packed and food and drink service was still good.
Fantastic atmosphere and fun Band. Low cover, low cost tables and a huge amount of fun!
