From the North of the Italian peninsula to the South, authentic Italian cuisine is characterized by its simplicity and relies on high quality, fresh ingredients native to each region. Cappella Chef and Owner, Rob Picardi, whose heritage is steeped in Italian tradition, traveled extensively throughout each region of Italy in the “pursuit of authenticity” to fulfill his vision of one day opening a restaurant that replicated true Italian cuisine.

This was my first time to Capella’s and I loved the atmosphere! What a cute spot and the decor was perfect. We started off with the Meatballs, Burrata and Brussel Sprouts & Aged Parmesan with Balsamic. Both were delicious but the Burrata & Brussels dish was my favorite starter. I wish I could have tried the Arancini but the menu was different than what I had viewed online.

First time here and it didn’t disappoint. My date and I ordered the chicken parmigiana. Epic homemade pasta, amazingly seasoned sauce and perfectly fried chicken topped with exquisite cheese. portion so big I took what looks like 2 servings and that was after I ate! Food clearly fantastic however service was semi lackluster. Our server was bubbly and helpful ☺️ but we did have to wait some time for her to return to check on us for drinks, food, menus etc the restaurant was beautiful with perfect decor and vibes. Just slightly too warm and too loud otherwise perfect everything

First time visiting Cappella last night and walked away impressed. This is a hidden gem that I have driven by 100 times and never tried before. The waitress we had was outstanding with amazing suggestions. This in my opinion was some of the best Italian food outside of the north end. We had the Bolognese, Meatballs, Arancini’s, Burrata. Service was a little wacky. The server didn’t seem to have any familiarity with the menu, didn’t ask us how we’d like our ribeye cooked, and the food came out WAY too quickly (leisurely meal for 2 with cocktails, appetizers, and entrees completed in 46 minutes!).

We were visiting from out of town and just happen to find the beauty while searching for dinner and we are so glad we did. Our lives are now forever changed. Not only is the pricing really fair for the quality but the dishes were exquisite. We got the kids meatball and pasta, the gnocchi and the black truffle wheel pasta. Let me start off with the gnocchi, it was really good, fluffy and puffy and melt and in your mouth. The kids meatball and pasta was by the best kids meal we’ve ever had at any restaurant we’ve been too and I mean every single one. Now on the star of the show. The Black Truffle wheel pasta is brought to the table and mixed in a cheese wheel. Never in my life have I eaten something so complex in flavor, I felt like a kid at Willy Wonka’s and instead of eating candy that was a 5 course dinner I was eating the Italian pasta version instead. When you first bite into the creamy wheel your tastebuds and enthralled with the earthy, nutty burst of black truffle, this is followed up by a smooth Parmesan cheese following by a caressing of butter on the back of your tongue as you finish the one bite. Usually this Nirvana ends after the first bite. But for this dish it was like this with every piece of pasta. My wife and I will cherish this meal for the rest of our lives!!!

Close friends I was staying with in Needham treated me to dinner here on St Paddy’s Day! We loved the food. I am vegetarian and would have loved to see more options for me on their menu … having said that, I was not disappointed at all with my Arancini and Rigatoni Vodka … fresh n delicious.

Every meal every bite is a dish worth driving to as the Phantom would say. The quality in the cooking and local sourced foods show in the flavor and food presentation. The atmosphere sets a unique mood that complements the spectacular menu. If you have not dined here you haven’t dined yet.
