Started off great when they say “ seat any where you like “. This is a small easy to miss restaurant next to a gas station in a small shopping center . Julie our server was super sweet and helpful to let us know some of her favorite dishes were , she quickly got us some beers and gave us time to look over the menu . My boyfriend and I both had shrimp and ravioli with garlic pesto sauce , the meal came with house salad which could have only been better by giving a few more tomatoes ( pretty good other than that ). The garlic bread was toasted just right with just the right about of garlic , it was crusty and soft . The real star of the show what the entree I have never had Italian food that good . This is about an hour away from where we live but will be back to try some more goods . We enjoyed chatting with Julie for a few minutes after our meal was done .

This longtime San Antonio eatery’s Garden Ridge location is struggling.
The dining room appeared dingy, the overhead lighting was off or not working, and the A/C drain was backed up and dripping near the open drink pitchers.
Our server was friendly, but clearly overworked.
My Chicken Alfredo was more akin to flavorless noodle soup, and the red sauce over the meatballs was thin and bland.
I truly hope this decades old, family run business can bring it back around, but at present, I can not recommend the Garden Ridge location.

Great Italian food! Well established restaurant. I had the Eggplant Parmesan w side of large portion of spaghetti for lunch. It comes with a salad and garlic bread for 12.99. The sauce was very tasty and the eggplant was cooked just right, not too much breading with fresh cheese on top. Definitely going back as I have several times.
Service was great!

The food and service were great. The only gripe I have is that adding a protein to your salad or pasta doesn’t add very many pieces.

We dined in here last month for lunch with friends. Good food with ample portions and great customer service. Would highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return again.

The all-meat pizza here was excellent and well worth the $26. You get a huge pizza loaded with a generous variety of meats, and the quality really stands out. The only downside is the wait time, it takes over 30 minutes for the pizza. But honestly, it’s understandable given how fresh everything tastes. On top of that, the atmosphere is great and makes the wait much more enjoyable. Overall, a very satisfying experience and definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been coming here for years but this is repulsive. The service is always 100% but the chicken Alfredo wad horrible. Made a to go order and came back to remake because it was “soupy”. The gal at the desk was SO extra nice. I never bring back to go orders but I paid almost $50 for a meal for two. Long story short, it was still soupy after it wad made. After cooling it seemed better and did have better flavor than the 1st. Reheating it I have realized that their Alfredo sauce is completely OIL. I am repulsed by the amount of oil and fat there is even after attempting to reheat it properly in a pan. Thought about adding heavy cream but it’s so far gone I can’t reheat it. My homemade Alfredo doesn’t do this. Im so so sad. Again service was 1000% but dang I’d stay away from any white sauce there.

I saw @lucepere’s review post on TikTok. It was everything she claimed it to be. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were also excellent too. I highly recommend this place!

Mama Mia! I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was here. I had just got done visiting the Natural Bridge Caverns and wanted to stop somewhere close to eat, a quick google search brought me to this Italian restaurant. I must have gone through some sort of fancy wormhole or something down in those caverns because I could’ve sworn, I was in Italy with how good the food was.
I had the Italian Wedding Soup it was so good I briefly considered proposing to it, might be why they call it that! Had some pizza along with some cheese bread the sauce on both were positively flirtatious and delicious!

Moved to San Antonio 1985, ran across Capparellis on 410 & Broadway, back then and we would do lunch as worked down the street at Webergs Furniture. Capparellis had really good food at a reasonable price. We were out this past Sunday in Schertz and ran across Capparellis by accident missed a turn and making u turn and there they were. We stopped and had an incredible lunch, & great desert and great service. Recommend them highly.
