As a guest traveling through Boone, I visited Capones for dinner. Greeted by two employee who seemed disinterested, asked if I wanted carry out or dining in. I answered that I would be dining in. After making a menu selection, I sat at my table for 20 minutes while staff walked by multiple times and said nothing, until finally another local patron came to my table to advise I need to go to the front counter to place my order. No staff had told me that. I followed the directions of the customer. I asked the staff at the counter why nobody would have shared those details. The young lady was very rude, thought I was at a different table and told me she had made those instructions known to table 40. I was at table 30. She placed my order with her sarcasm. Snarky. I asked about the bar which there had been no bartender present at all. The employee said they had a bartender and pointed to the person that had literally just walked to the bar that moment and said they had been there the whole time. She was the least helpful and clearly bothered by customers present. She just wanted to be argumentative. The food was good but far from great. I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service. Doesn’t align with my experiences at other businesses in Boone. Sad. I never plan on returning since they clearly didn’t seem to be interested in me as a customer. I will note that the restaurant was extremely slow, only a few tables occupied. Not busy at all. Staff sitting around chatting with not much to do. So it’s not a result of short staffing at all, at least not during my visit.

Surprisingly good pizza, prices very reasonable especially for the area. They have a salad bar, never see those anymore. We had three different pizzas and they were all good. I especially loved the white pizza with extra garlic, it was delicious. Stuffed all four of us for under $40!

This has got to be my favorite place for pizza. The prices are very fair and I love the fact that they have several different options for crust and sauce. We make a 30 minute trip out of our way to come and eat here.

It’s hard to find good pizza in the mountains of NC, but if you’re reading this then congratulations, you found it. The pizza is great, the garlic knots are great… every thing is great. Oh, and the staff, also great.

Really good food, but a little doughy and can’t believe I’m going to say it but too much cheese on the pizza to where you couldn’t taste the toppings. Overall though good food!

BBQ chicken pizza was the best I have ever had. Sweet BBQ was so good. French knots were really good…good butter to garlic ratio. Husband had 3 cheese something and he really enjoyed it

This place was just ok. The pizza was fine. Nothing to really write home about but not bad at all. The chicken wings however, avoid those. In case I need to be more clear, the chicken wings are bad. The sauce on the wings is lack luster and the wings are poorly cooked and slimy. The blue cheese that comes with them is good. Big chunks of cheese in the sauce, but definitely not worth getting crappy wings for. The garlic knots were really tasty. Definitely give those a try. Beer prices are great. $3.50 for a pint of double IPA . There is also three pasta dishes, that’s it. So if you are looking for pasta this is definitely not the place to go. Pizza and calzones mostly. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is fine. Overall an ok place to grab some pizza.
