Always enjoy my time here, food was excellent. Git the ribeye with a side of pasta great portion size for the value. Service always polite and fast. Atmosphere is nice for a nice romantic dinner. (Wish it was a little more lit up but I understand the vibe they’re going for.)

The perfect spot to unwind! From the moment we walked in, we were met by soothing music, warm lighting and attentive staff. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, the cocktails were expertly crafted and the asparagus wrapped in proscuitto was bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a lovely Saturday evening dinner at Capone’s Grill and Pasta Shop on Wyandotte, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. This cozy, family-style Italian restaurant has a lot to offer—great food, warm service, and an authentic, homey atmosphere.

We started with the arancini (rice balls) and tomato mussels. The arancini were a standout—crispy on the outside, with a soft, flavorful interior filled with fresh peas and marinara. You get three generously sized rice balls, perfect for sharing. The mussels were also tasty, served in a delicious tomato-based broth with herbs and garlic. While they weren’t the absolute freshest, the flavors were still on point and enjoyable.

For the main course, I ordered the chicken parmesan with penne pasta in marinara sauce and a side of green beans. The chicken parmesan was excellent—tender, juicy chicken with a crisp breading and melted cheese on top, served in a hearty portion. The marinara sauce was fresh and well-balanced, but the penne pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste—not quite al dente. Still, it paired nicely with the chicken. The green beans were a delightful surprise—sautéed with fresh garlic, red bell peppers, and flaky salt, and full of flavor.

The restaurant is quite small, with about 6–10 tables, so reservations are definitely recommended, especially on weekends. One downside is that the space gets noisy fairly quickly—you can hear the kitchen and conversations from surrounding tables, which made it hard to hear the music or chat comfortably at times.

That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food made it well worth the visit. If you’re looking for a cozy, casual spot to enjoy Italian comfort food made with care, Capone’s is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back—hopefully on a quieter evening!

Unfortunately the two put of 3 times I’ve been there, there always seems to be one table that is obnoxiously loud which ruined our experience. The only reason I went this last time was because the person I was treating to dinner wanted to experience this restaurant. There were 4 of us but we could hardly hear each other then we just stayed quiet. The food was excellent which helped. I will NOT be going back.

I feel like I found a hidden gem! The ambience is really warm and cozy. We got the shrimp francaise for starters and it was delish, especially the sauce. For the main we tried the shrimp Alfredo and shrimp four cheese ravioli and both of them tasted pretty amazing! The only complain I had was that, it wasn’t well salted but the waitress was kind and helped me out with that right away! Also, I think we tired the cheesecake for dessert and it was divine! I definitely recommend.

Food and service was excellent! Definitely requires a reservation. At times, noise level in kitchen was high making it difficult to have conversation.

A Wonderful intimate dining experience.
From the appetizer to the main courses, we were so happy with our meals.
The parmesan crusted shrimp was amazing, followed by veal parm for him and grilled halibut for myself. Generous portions that we couldn’t finish in the restaurant, so we have a fantastic meal for tomorrow
We will definitely visit again.
