We celebrated a family event at Capo Ristorante e Panini, and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner (Paul) and his staff welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family. Hosting my large family is no small task, yet everything was handled seamlessly, graciously, and with genuine care and kindness.

The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and truly gourmet-quality. And it is very reasonably priced. Every dish was prepared with care, and you could taste the quality in every bite. With such a large and varied menu, there was truly something for everyone, and every single person in our group left happy and impressed.
What made the experience especially memorable was the warmth and hospitality. The staff went out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable, cared for, and celebrated.

Capo Ristorante helped turn an important family event into a truly memorable day. We are so grateful and will absolutely be back asap. Highly recommend it!

Great local spot! From grilled paninis, to cold cuts or healthy and simple grilled chicken with broccoli rape, butternut squash or cheesecake, they have it all!

I had a very frustrating experience here and will not be returning.

I ordered a soup that does not normally contain the ingredient I’m allergic to, so I had no reason to expect an issue. When the soup arrived, I realized it had celery in it, which I am allergic to. I immediately stopped, removed it, and let the waitress know I could not eat it.

I asked for a replacement soup and specifically asked if it contained that same ingredient. I was told no.

When the bill came, I was charged for both soups—including the one I could not eat due to my allergy. When I pointed this out, the waitress told me it was because I had “already touched it,” which was upsetting because I never ate it and made them aware of the allergy issue immediately.

I asked for the bill to be corrected, but after waiting quite a while with no resolution, my friend eventually had to go up to the counter to pay.

On top of that, I accidentally left my very expensive sunglasses there, and this was the only place I had been. When I called, they said they didn’t have them.

Between the allergy mishandling, billing issue, and lack of accountability, this was a really disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.

Great Food and Friendly Service!
I recently tried this restaurant in Franklin Square and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The salmon burger was the highlight of my meal. It may sound unusual to have it on a panini, but it was delicious. The flavors worked well together and it was a pleasant surprise. The chicken parm dish was also impressive, especially when it was doused in olive oil.…I’ve been in Franklin Square for years and I regret not trying this restaurant sooner. I will definitely be going back regularly from now on. It’s a hidden gem that I highly recommend… And the waiter was so friendly and accommodating, which really added to the overall positive experience. It’s always nice to have great service!!

Upon my recent visit to Capo Ristorante, nestled at 700 A Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, I was treated to an experience that tantalized my taste buds and warmed my heart. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Tesla Panini, a masterful blend of succulent grilled chicken, rich Parma ham, and velvety mozzarella, all nestled between slices of perfectly crisped Krispina bread and complemented by the peppery zing of baby arugula. It was, in every sense, a delight.

The appetizers did not play second fiddle, with the fried macaroni & cheese balls presenting a symphony of textures and flavors that were both comforting and indulgent.

But what truly set Capo Ristorante apart was their exceptional customer service. In celebration of our recent engagement, which we happened to mention in passing, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to accompany our takeout order. This thoughtful gesture was the cherry on top of an already splendid dining experience.

It’s small businesses like Capo Ristorante that reinforce my love for those local spots where the quality of both food and service is deeply personal. They’ve truly mastered the art of making patrons feel like family. I’ll be returning not just for the delectable fare, but for that genuine, homey touch that is all too rare in today’s bustling world.

Food was decent, not really worth the price for the quality and quantity.

Ordered take out today on June 30 2022. Asked for balsamic dressing. And the order was read back to us over the phone correctly. The salad was on the bottom of the bag and was not able to check it. Next time we will be unpacking all of our take out items on the counter to make sure it is all correct. This is not the first time this has happened and I’m sure it will not be the last. It is pretty ridiculous…. Glad I’m not the first 1 star review of this place

Wasn’t too busy when we went. Service was good. Food a little pricey for what you get. I’d go back though.

One and a half hour wait for some of the most unpalatable “food” ever. Just awful. Terrible. Supposed to be roasted turkey sandwich. Turkey was like flat tasteless shoe leather. Brown lettuce. The pork on my other sandwich was next to non existent. I’ve seen hogs on a farm eat better quality food. La Botteca was garbage this is ten times worse. The food is atrocious do not eat here. Hopefully my photo serves as a warning!
