The very best real Philly Cheesteak with Coopers I’ve had in Virginia. They call it the Steak Me Home Tonight. My tastebuds felt like i was in Philadelphia. The bread is perfect too. Fresh and soft and has the perfect crisps where you need it. Meat / cheese / onion ratio was perfect. Dude on the grill knows what he’s doing. Go here if you love Philly Cheesteaks. It’s served with cherry peppers!! No Long hots but those would be the perfect addition. Great job executing on one of the greatest famed sandwiches in the world!

Buffalo chicken if you’re sitting at the counter. Turkey sub to go. Either way you can’t go wrong. Great drinks / beer selection. They use top notch ingredients, the service is great and it’s conveniently located right off route 7.

I saw Michelin release a guide for Philly cheesesteaks in Philly and it got me craving. There’s a little bit of a dearth of high quality cheese steaks here. Often the good ones are by local owned shops that are dedicated to ingredients and craft.
Not the Capo of DC that was really a night club, this is a legit high quality sandwich shop, locally owned and clearly dedicated to the craft and customer.
The owner is around the space, getting to know customers to create a community and gather feedback.
Ultimately it’s about the food: Best cheesesteak sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The bread is fresh and soft and everything in between tastes high quality, executed well, and very flavorful. You’ll know by the first bite.
Give this place a shot. Note that their menu is much larger than what’s online, so make your decision on shop.

If you’re looking for a phenomenal sandwich to try, then I highly recommend Capo Deli Tysons! The service was great! Everyone made me feel like I was at home. This brought back a lot of nostalgia as I’ve worked in deli’s for several years. I’m very particular about my sandwiches and this is by far one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Making sandwiches isn’t just about making food, it is art!

Great food, great little place. I have seen this place for awhile and finally tried it today. Loved the Cuban, I want to try one of the steak and cheese sandwiches. Will come again.

Picked this spot out of Google maps, glad we did. Both sandwiches we ordered were very good. Excellent servings and quality ingredients. We will come back. I may try the full bar (almost hidden) next time around.

This was our first time here and it was phenomenal! We ended up getting an Italian and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Both were 10/10, and don’t even get me started on how good their rolls are! This has to be the best sandwich spot in the area. The people are personable, the food is great, and the atmosphere is cool. They even have a small bar counter to eat at with TVs. Definitely will be coming back!

I ordered the large Milano with jalapenos. The sub was good and the ingredients were fresh. But, it definitely could have had more meats on it. There were no ingredients on the last inch of the roll on either end. For 25 bucks I expected much more. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted great, but was lacking in meats. The sub roll was excellent, lightly toasted with Sesame seeds.

I got a California cheesesteak and it was incredibly boring. There’s no flavor it actually tasted like I’m chewing nothing. George’s cheesesteak in dc is so much better however it’s smaller. Also I found a black hair in my sandwich

This place has completely ruined every other sandwich shop for me — in the best way possible. A gem of a deli that genuinely cares about quality. The ingredients are fresh (and I mean FRESH), the craft is real, and every sandwich is built with serious intention.
I went with a few friends and got to taste a few sandwiches. My favorite, the Steak Me Home Tonight is a must-order. Quality thinly sliced steak, that’s perfectly seasoned and well-constructed. And it’s secret weapon? The seeded Italian bread. Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of sesame — it truly takes an already incredible sandwich to another level entirely. Ask for hot peppers on the side!!
The chicken salad sandwich is deceptively simple and delicious. Creamy, fresh, and satisfying in a way that keeps you thinking about it long after you’re done.
The Chicken Parm at Capo is also not one to sleep on. Tender, perfectly breaded chicken, rich marinara (with just the right amount of zing), and melted mozz cheese — all loaded onto that incredible seeded Italian bread that makes everything better. Every bite is hearty, flavorful, and just downright satisfying.
For dessert we had the chocolate chip cookies, made by the owner himself, which are impossibly moist and chewy, you can taste the care in every bite. The Oreo Cookie Mousse was also delicious, light, rich, and indulgent all at once.
Warm atmosphere, great service and quality ingredients at reasonable prices, and an owner who is genuinely passionate about what he does. Easily one of the best spots in Northern Virginia. Thanks Capo, for the best sandwiches around! We’ll be back!
