Convenient location and the owners seem nice, but the crawfish had absolutely no flavor. Huge disappointment, especially based on the reviews. If you know real Louisiana Cajun or Creole seasoning, you’ll know this isn’t it—completely bottom of the barrel. Honestly, it tasted like crawfish boiled in plain water. Total waste of money. I’ll be making the drive to downtown Monterey next time for something with actual flavor.

What a wonderful surprise! The crawfish was juicy, easy to peel, and full of flavor. The service was fantastic and the owners are just gems. Definitely found our new weekend crawfish spot.

I wish I got a better picture, but see that as evidence as how good it was I had the catfish plate and it was so amazing, I normally don’t like fried food but this was done so well, perfectly crispy on the outside and the fish had great texture. What impressed me the most is how not greasy this is for fried food, truly felt like a home cooked meal. Absolutely recommend!!!

Picked up some live crawfish this weekend and I was very impressed with the whole experience. The crawfish were clean, good size, good price, and no issue with dead ones. I’m so glad to have a place here in Willis to get good quality crawfish at a great price. I’m looking forward to my next order from Cap’n Johnny’s.

I was really excited to try this crawfish truck, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The crawfish were difficult to peel and just didn’t have any flavor. We ended up only eating about half of what we got before giving up. To make matters worse, my husband felt sick after eating them. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good crawfish experience. Definitely not worth the money.

BEST crawfish we’ve had this season! They were boiled and seasoned perfectly, the tails came right out and the claws were like butter! The owner is really friendly ❤️ We will definitely get our crawfish here for the rest of the season.
