We decided to stop here while on vacation because one of my coworkers recommended it. I am SO glad that he did!

The papaya salad was delicious! So crunchy with the perfect amount of lime dressing. My husband and I both had the crispy pad Thai, him with veggies, mine with shrimp. It was the BEST pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life! Flavorful, crunchy up until the last bite, and the shrimp were so fresh and tender!

We had a lovely conversation with our server about our vacation and our hometown. Our dishes arrived at the perfect time and she was so gracious and welcoming!

If you are in the area, I definitely would recommend this place for a delicious meal, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

The worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The dishes were bland and devoid of any characteristic Thai mixture of flavors and colors. We got Pad Thai – mostly rice pasta with specs of chicken spring sprouts. And salad dish with crispy rice and Thai sausage – equally flavorless. Basically dry rice hash browns with greens. We also got fried dumplings with our order. Same as above but they also looked “used” if that’s possible. Sticky tables. Kind of remarkable what you can do to Thai food.

Been a few months since I was last here but came back with coworkers and wow, this place continues to impress!

We started with the Blossom dumplings which are always great, the chicken satay which was good, and the lobster Rangoon and steamed pork buns which were both EXCELLENT.

Beyond the excellent flavors, I’m always shocked how fast they bring the food!

We had the Spicy Pad Thai, Thai Sausage, a Pork Rib Curry, and a Three Seafood Option. Each was spectacular but the favorites of the table were the Spicy Pad Thai (server recommendation/favorite) and the Three Seafood (shrimp, squid, and haddock).

Excellent food and wonderful presentation, but when dining in, the atmosphere is just not there. We had previously gotten delivery, and absolutely loved it. It was a tad pricey, but so so good. When we tried dinner on a Friday night, however, the food was still excellent and service very kind and prompt, but the vibe was just lacking. I will absolutely be getting delivery again though!

The pork bun appetizer is a must- so juicy and flavorful. I also really liked the blossom dumplings, which are so cute and tasty. The pad thai is very good, as is the Lion King dish. The portions were hearty, neither my husband nor I could finish our plates! The spice level was a bit low, so don’t hesitate to ask for more spice if you’re into that.

Food was delicious with great presentation. Staff was very responsive, clean and well decorated place. Better than other Thai restaurant but we’re still expecting more closer to Authentic Thai Cuisine.

I have given this once beloved restuarant so many chances but am now so disappointed and upset that I am revising my earlier review below.

While I understand that supply chain issues, employee turnover and inflation are all issues restuarants have to deal with, we as consumers do as well and while I could understand the crazy increasing prices, I cannot abide the dwindling amount of food bieng served and the quality of the cook. Today, I received what has to be the smallest salmon fillet ever recorded. Honestly, 2 oz. Tops. In addition, it and our Lobster Rangoon appetizer (which was also shy two customary pieces) was burned. Tried calling the restuarant…no answer and no ability to leave a voicemail. $25.00 for 2 oz of salmon, four stalks of asparagus, a side of white rice and some sauce? 14.00 for six burned rangoons? Mind you, these are dishes we have ordered from Capital Thai consistently in the past and thus know full well what the dishes should contain and how they should be cooked. Shame on whomever decided this was acceptable food and delivery customers be warned.

Khaophums has proven to be a solid choice for local Thai and that is where we will be going from now on.

Prior Review from a year or so ago.

While I have yet to actually dine in at this restaurant, I have dined frequently via Door Dash and this has got to be the best Thai restaurant I have visited. If you like Pad Thai, you will LOVE it after trying it from Capital Thai. Out of this world! The Choochee Salmon is also amazing and a regular go to for me. Some other great mentions have to include the Lobster Rangoon (yes, dip it in the sauce that comes with it-so good) and the steamed pork buns. There are many more dishes that are so good. Honestly, you cannot miss with this place. Great food!

The cashew chicken was basically sweet and sour chicken, dry with little flavor. Drunken noodles also with not much flavor. Super disappointing.

We had 9 in our party and at first they couldn’t accommodate us.
While trying to find another place to go, they came out and said they can fit us in.

They need training on their POS system as they said they couldn’t split the bill more than twice.
We had to get two in our party to pay and reimburse them.
The appetizers were nice and the food was good. Nothing really noteworthy though.

First time trying Thai food as a picky eater and I got the chicken satay and pad thai. Loved them both and we ate everything! Service and food were excellent, would highly recommend.
