This is only the second Capital One Cafe I have been to (first in Chicago). I got their famous honey latte and also booked a study room and got some work done. The location is kind of random since it is inside the mall, but it is still clean and modern. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived closer because I would come here more often. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Came here today. They just recently opened. The cafe is very spacious and a good place to sit and chill. They also have some meeting rooms in case you want to work here and have some calls to take. If you have a capital one card, the drinks are 50% off. Def recommend the mocha and caramel latte. They also have seasonal offerings. The hibiscus drink from last year was amazing. The staff were very nice and they had people welcoming people in. I’m glad they finally opened a location in STL. Will be coming back again.

So I ordered a $12 avocado toast (added smoky bacon) that was so hard to bite into and chew that I felt like I was given day old bread for a “quality” promised snack. Huge let down people and now worth the 10 minute wait. Please get your act together C1!

Secondly I bought the strawberry smoothie and it was “meh”. It was more bitter than sweet. I know it’s preference or choice on smoothies but when you’re spending $22, for the combination and neither item satisfies or meets minimum expectations — it gets pretty depressing.

I won’t buy here again. But thats unfortunately because it’s my first and now only experience / impression of the Capital one cafe.

Lastly – I hoped that I could pay with my Capital One rewards but there was no option – so that seems like they really missed the mark again.

3 strikes and no good came out of this visit. It’s just really lame.

Broken oven so no sandwiches, no berries so no yogurt bowl so for me no breakfast at the moment … multiple people walk away when a note on board out front would help. I still got a coffee. Nice clean area and friendly service but no one is thinking about people waiting in line for no reason.

Everything was awesome except one thing, the employees. They are loud and obnoxious, and disturb people who came there to study and have a quiet time. They talk 24/7 in loud volumes and distract people. The atmosphere was totally fine, but I had to leave because they kept on talking in loud volumes and laugh so much. I had even put on headphones but even that couldn’t help. All they do is laugh and disturb people who are trying to get work done. Definitely will not be going there again. I am very disappointed and is still annoyed today. I even told them if they could be a little less loud but they kept on laughing like crazy and it’s just really disturbing and annoying, I couldn’t get any work done!

My husband and I visited them for a check withdrawal today. A lovely lady named Mari helped us. She was delightful and we even got treated to coffee on the house.

There are 3 small meeting rooms (nooks), only 1 is reservable. I came in around lunch and met with my partner for a quick conference call. The reservable room was not available but the other 2 rooms were open and not being used. We were told we could not use either of those empty rooms. We took our call in the lobby, it was loud, to be expected. It was our first time trying to use a Capital One Cafe and were both long time Cap One customers. This cafe served us zero benefit or purpose.

Didn’t know these cute little spaces actually existed. Try to pickup a few last minute items at the mall before my flight, I happened upon this. I counted six employees in attendance to start with. There was one customer ordering before me and I patiently waited my turn. The associate that was waiting on the customer before me totally disappeared without warning and another associate eventually proceeded to help me. At least 10 minutes passed and my order still wasn’t ready. I’ve never even ever waited at that popular coffee house that everyone flaunts to, for 10 minutes. An irrate customer appeared from nowhere demanding her order with the explanation that she had someplace to go as if the rest of us didn’t. The one and only associate out of the six I noticed was the only one preparing the food orders as if there weren’t anyone else capable, qualified or assigned, I just don’t know. I gave up after 11 minutes and requested a refund. It was an experience that wasn’t one to make another visit for one the small strawberry smoothie that was ordered was absolutely ridiculous in cost for size, you are not the famous little coffee house so give us a reason to pay almost $10.00 for a small smoothie. I’m not exactly sure of the perk as a card member the benefits of utilizing this place but hey, whatever works. Just read in another review that if you are a Capitol One cardholder, that drinks are half off. Not one person asked if I was, and does your register not tell you upon purchase that the card used is or isn’t? BTW I have 4 Capitol One cards.
