I appreciated getting half off for having a Capital One card, but my cold brew was decidedly weak. My wife got some fancy sugar drink which was okay, but we would never have paid the almost $14 full price for these two beverages. The staff was okay, but clearly unhappy and the facility was rather Spartan. I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

The 50% discount for holding a cap one card is now very limited. The menu is limited and the service is sub par now that the management has shifted. This once was a great local perk of holding a capital one card, now its nothing more than another Cafe that always has “issues”. Im not sure what the end goal of this cafe is, at this point in time.

The staff explained that the café had switched companies managing its operations, resulting in a stricter menu.This change is a major letdown. If the café has the tools and ingredients, why refuse a simple request? It feels like a lack of flexibility and a disregard for customer preferences. As someone who valued the café’s former adaptability, I’m disappointed by this rigid approach. It makes me wonder if Capital One’s banking services will mirror this inflexibility. If their café can’t accommodate a basic drink order due to a company change, will their financial services be equally unresponsive to my needs?This experience has me reconsidering my relationship with Capital One. A bank that prioritizes customers would ensure its café reflects that same ethos, regardless of operational changes. I’m now exploring other banking options, as this shift leaves me doubting Capital One’s commitment to going above and beyond.

Whenever I visit a Capital One Café, I always order their matcha latte. No sugar in it (Note: the genuine matcha is not sweet), and its bold flavor makes it perfect. In my personal view as Japanese, they have one of the best matcha lattes among major coffee shop chains in the States.
