One of my favorite restaurants in the Ithaca area. Whether it is by delivery or in person, I have thoroughly enjoyed the food here over the years. The restaurant is well furnished and gives off a relaxing atmosphere.

I went in to order in person since they were having phone issues. When I walked in and was asked what I ordered, I explained I couldn’t due to the phone line being busy, which shouldn’t be a problem either way. I was given attitude for not placing my order beforehand, and the young man who was at the counter, proceeded to roll his eyes and throw his head back like I ruined his entire evening.
I told him that I didn’t have to order if it was an inconvenience and then I asked him what his problem was. He gave me an emotionless apology in front of other families and asked me what I wanted like it wasn’t a big deal? I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve ordered at the counter many times without it being a problem before.
Capital Corner has once again lost another loyal customer and I’ll never set foot in there again.

We decided to visit on a whim and were pleasantly surprised! The other reviews about slow service are pretty accurate; there were like 2 other tables other than ours (and some takeout orders) and it still took a bit. But the food was actually really good and very economical. The dinner combo platter gets you fried rice, an entree, soup, and an eggroll. Portions were really big; both my partner and I had to get boxes. We ordered the mooshu pork (w/ hot & sour soup, pork eggroll, pork fried rice) and mapo tofu (w/ egg drop soup, pork eggroll, pork fried rice). This place stands up to Apollo in terms of quality and price. We also ordered the shrimp spring roll appetizer, expecting a summer roll, but it was just another deep fried egg roll. Also, the chili sauce they offer on the table is quite hot, be warned. Will definitely be coming back sometime soon!

I come here all the time. I Am a traveler. I came In With my backpack and they won’t serve me water with my meal. When I asked for a glass the cup was absolutely filthy. The pork in the rice I got was absolutely sour and I’m already sick to my stomach. They treat me like this because I am visibly homeless even though I spend my money like any other customer.

Ordered food through door dash delivery. It seemed as if the Chinese food place itself performed the delivery. The Door Dash app was never updated on when my order was being delivered. However, when the man who delivered my order arrived he called me to come get my order. I told him he could leave it on the porch, but he insisted he would wait for me to come down. It was very considerate because he just didn’t want my order to get stolen before i got to it. 10/10 service.
as for wait time, I’d say it took around 30-35 minutes for my order to arrive. I forgot to snap any pics before chowing down lol but I will say all the portion sizes were good and the food was delicious. I ordered pork dumplings, and the noodle was cooked to perfection. It had a very nice texture, and the meat inside was juicy and flavorful. The chicken and broccoli were very good, and so was the chicken lomein. The crab Rangoons had a really nice flavor, but the filling was strangely thick, not bad, just not what I’m used to. I’d recommend them for sure.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was quick and helped me get the only item on the menu I could eat. I only have 2 remarks, first it’s too quiet and could have used some music, even if it was elevator music lol, second my cup was dirty unfortunately, but not bad enough to make me dislike the place. Still would recommend going here to anyone.
