Refined Italian menu with a long wine list presented in an intimate space with an open kitchen.

A wonderful dining experience when visiting little rock. Be sure to get a reservation as the true Italian atmosphere packs the venue. The good is authentic and gives the reminece of old Italy. We all chose to sit at the bar with our wonderful bartender Richard. He is quick on the drinks and is very knowledgeable about the local area and culture. The Marsala Chicken had to be the most authentic and tasty that ive ever had and was complimented by the homemade bread. Nestled right in the heart of north little rock, it’s a dining experience to remember.

10/10 would recommend! Made a reservation at Capeo to celebrate my little sister’s college signing day. Before we even stepped foot in the restaurant they made sure to communicate with us via text to confirm our reservation and update it with our changes. Once we arrived we received a warm welcome from the staff. Our waiter Dale was very knowledgeable of the menu and he was attentive so we never had to hunt him down for anything. We started off with the Bolla Pinot Grigio recommended by Dale and it was so not too sweet and not too tart. For appetizers we ordered the Clams & Mussels, Caesar Salads, Bruschetta, Wild mushroom soup and the butternut squash soup. All of which were delicious! For our main courses we ordered the Baked Rigatoni, vegetable lasagna, chestnut gnocchi and fettuccine alfredo. Again everything tasted amazing. I would highly recommend eating at Capeo because the service is top notch, food is amazing and the atmosphere is upscale.

Beautiful ambiance in this restaurant. The Bruschetta and meatballs were tasty yet quite small for the price. The Lamb with Figs is a signature dish. It was fantastic. Hearty, tender and rich with flavor. Highly recommend. A great special occasion or date night place.

《9/25 Review update: If you are fortunate to have Richard as you bartender, it’s a lucky/ good day. Food is excellent as always; drinks to complement whatever you get can be enhanced with the assistance of someone seasoned like Richard. Don’t hesitate to ask about any preferred drinks that you like. My favorite drinks are always well made, regardless if it’s off menu. This review is being written after four visits. Parking is free, but it can take a little effort at times, mostly street parking. There is bar seating as well as table. Good alcohol and wine selection, nothing excessive. The bartender knows what he’s doing, feel free to ask about off menu drinks/ cocktails. The kitchen has been fairly consistent, and outstanding. The cost for food and drink is consistent for the area & quality/ quantity; nothing excessive. Menu can be a bit more diverse. Kudos to the management for a good team and good food. Will be back again soon. … moreAnthony Colquitt
The best real Italian food I’ve had since I left Denver!! I can’t find the words to say how amazing every dish was, I was utterly stunned at the quality of ingredients. The house Risotto was devine, sausage and white truffle with a cream sauce. The bruschetta was a fantastic surprise of spinach cheese sauce. I also highly recommend the Spinach gnocchi; they just melt in your mouth . I cannot rave enough about their menu and service, I cannot wait to dine here again!

I am in town to run tomorrow’s Little Rock Marathon. This should get me my 24th state with a marathon (or longer) finish. As with almost all my races, I wanted pasta the night before (Cabo load ) and Capeo was very close to my hotel. I was in a t-shirt and running shorts so I stopped by to order the food to go (website wouldn’t let me do a web-based pick-up but no biggie).
I sat at the bar (and saw a couple people in jeans so I probably didn’t need to worry). I ordered the linguini with seafood. It came out fairly quick. The chef saw me and actually asked about my shirt (it is an ultramarathon called Barkley and I explained rat jaw and rat bites to him).
I brought the food back to my hotel room (thankful the bartender asked me if I wanted utensils). Came with some bread that had really good flavor. The linguini was cooked perfectly – still a little al dente). The seafood broth was excellent and it had a lot of seafood (2 or 3 shrimp , 5 clams , and 2 mussels). Flavor was excellent even though it was take out.
Because of the race I wasn’t drinking but the bar had quite a selection of spirited (and I saw plenty of bottles of wine around.)
Atmosphere was nice and I found free parking less than a block away (saved my legs for the marathon).

The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the house salad and lasagna. For dessert I had the tiramisu and gelato, Heath flavored. The service was on point. Abby was so attentive and very nice. I would recommend coming here if you’re ever in North Little Rock Arkansas.

Fabulous dinner experience on a Friday evening! Service was phenomenal & the food was outstanding. Matthew (our server) was friendly and accommodating, and was able to make a few recommendations.
I had the butternut squash zuppa and the Chef’s Special 8oz elk cut (from New Zealand), cooked rare, served with seasons veggies (zucchini, carrots). I was tempted to gnaw on the rib bones it was so good!
My wife had the Caesar’s salad & tomato soup, also outstanding. I also had a glass of the Wild Thing Old Vine Zin, it complemented the elk very well.
I would highly recommend making a reservation on the restaurants website before you go, it was decently busy when we got there at 7:30pm on a Friday evening the day after New Year’s Day..

We were very excited to visit our first time, reservations were for 6:45 last night..greeting buy 2 host that promptly told us that they had late reservations at 8:45. Ok..I’ve been in the food industry for 40 plus years. My husband and I love to explore great places to enjoy an evening. We’ve never have been given a time frame to leave a restaurant. Becca was our server greeting us promptly. Ordered our drinks and have to ask for bread? Our appetizer was the bruschetta for 13$ 3 pieces of bread it was OK. Split the Ceaser salad very good. Did not order our entrees until we were in the middle of our salads. The veal parm and the veal alla capeo. The hubby got a bowl of spaghetti veal and mozzarella that had no color no effort. Mine was Ok…not pasta side 35$ and ya…7$ for some spaghetti with no tomato no garlic, basil, just a white on white bowl. Not to mention we had to ask for ground pepper and a spin of cheese. Checked the bill out and we weren’t charged. Just as we were finishing up our entrees one of the hosts came back to remind us about the upcoming reservation, nice touch. Ordered two desserts, white chocolate creme brule, and the pistachio cheesecake both were outstanding! 177$ l have absolutely no problem paying for a lovely dinner in fact I look forward to but our quest for a wonderful fine dining italian restaurant in Arkansas shall continue

This is a good, wholesome Italian restaurant. We had reservations, and we were glad we did since the patrons filled in quickly on Saturday evening. Their menu consisted of many of the standard Italian fare foods, including a fish of the day, which isn’t shown on their menu. The waiter brought us their homemade bread, which was super warm and soft on the inside with a nice crunchy crust on the outside.
We were so full from our entrees that we didn’t get any dessert, but we learned they are all made from scratch, including their gelato.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for wholesome Italian cuisine with a cozy but upscale atmosphere.
