Absolutely delicious chowdah! I visited with friends for a quick afternoon snack this past Friday, and I tried the fish chowder that was listed on the daily specials menu. Lemme tell ya, it did not disappoint. It was in fact the best chowder I’d ever eaten, bar none. If it would have been socially acceptable to lick the cup clean, I would have. I’m from out of town and am now considering moving, that’s how good the food was. The service was outstanding too. And if you enjoy bird-watching, you’re in luck as there’s a bald eagle eyrie just across the street. And a burrowing owl was chillin’ on the lobster sign in the patio area, so cute! This place is a gem – delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere.

What a great find!! Being from New England I was so pleased to find this hidden gem! The food was excellent! We had steamers, they were sweet and tender, cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed the mussels, in a rich flavorful broth with linguica sausage and the best garlic bread to dip. I had a fried clam roll and we also had the fish chowder! Just a great meal! Service was amazing, we had so many servers checking in on us I am not even sure which server was ours! Drink menu limited as far as beers and wine goes, but otherwise it was really great! Looking forward to going back to try more “tastes from home”!

What can be said about Cape Cod Fish Co. Honestly I’m speechless. Mainly because the food kept me too busy for anything but savoring the amazing food. Hands Down the best Lobster Roll ive had outside Maine. Heavy helpings of lobster meat. Amazing clam chowder and fresh hand cut fries.
The employees were amazing. Friendly and helpful.

We had lunch there today and the food was absolutely delicious. Some of us got lobster rolls, Fishermans platter, fried shrimp, scallop basket, and everything was cooked to perfection. The servers were excellent and attentive, and Personable too. We will definitely be returning!

Lisa did a good job recommending our meal. Place was small, clean and friendly seating was inside and outside. we both had a classic rock, lobster roll and corn lobster soup it was excellent. We will be back. Staff was friendly and happy to be here.

We had fried cod and shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic – cooked perfectly – and the cod very good. I had a side of beans, which were spicy- awesome! Our server was VERY helpful and friendly. And the “special guest” was very entertaining until he had to fly. I understand that he is a regular.

@CapeCodFishCo is a cute little seafood restaurant in the planet fitness plaza on the corner of Old McGregor/SanCarlos/McGregor at 15501 Old McGregor Blvd In Ft Myers.
We were in the mood for fresh seafood. There are so many seafood restaurants in SWFL. Usually, what makes up our mind is wait time/crowds. We generally love to find the hidden gems, the ones that people are not totally aware of yet.
We loved CapeCodFishCo for multiple reasons. The food was really prepared. Not pre-made, not a bunch of heat and serve, nuked rubbery or over done boxed “food.”
I ordered the New England clam chowder (white), and my hubby ordered the Rhode Island (red) clam chowder and we shared the appetizer of boom boom shrimp. Both are very good and filling. Our son ordered the Cruben sandwich, which was fried cod, crisp cole slaw, swiss cheese, their special sauce on grilled rye bread with some pretty awesome french fries.
If we were taking bets, who had the best meal, I don’t know who would have won. All the food was great!
Several of the neighboring tables had lobster rolls. They seemed to be very popular, I plan to try that the next time we visit.
Give this restaurant a try. Hope you experience a great meal, just like we did.
