Overall the experience was very nice. The reason I rated it four stars is because it seems like what used to be the most incredible customer service I’ve ever experienced, has dropped slightly.
It used to be they worked more as teammates, the servers that is. I never remember having to ask for a refill on my drinks. I know that may seem a bit too demanding, but for la teresita it was standard practice. Our particular server was very polite and courteous, and I could tell that he was busy, so by no means is this a disappointment, I’m just trying to be as transparent as possible.
Everyone at our table is very satisfied with the meal and made it well worth the visit.
The front of house staff could have smiled more, but by no means were they impolite.
It was great to see that they now offer additional parking.
I will definitely continue to go to La Teresita as it has been a staple in our family for 23 years.

Great atmosphere and really delicious food. The dried beef in red sauce was amazing, the plantains were just the right amount of crispness. The waiter was very nice as well. Stay away from the chicken soup, it tasted like it came from a campbells can, but other then that it was great.

I ordered a cuban sandwich from one of the most unenthusiastic employees I’ve ever met. So bored at work, he leans on the counter to watch his phone. After 10 mins they call for someone else’s order and I thought it was for me, but the guy looks back and grabbed my sandwich that had been sitting there for a few minutes, he just didn’t notice because he was on his phone and he doesn’t care about customer service. Food was miserable.

Food is always good. Only 2 stars this time as wait staff did not all have on masks. Some were wearing it on their chins making them ineffective. The hostess and a waitresses without a mask held a loud conversation over our table. I almost left because I did not feel safe. I will not go back until after we return to normal. I will get to-go until then.

I have visited this place since 2009 as one of my favorite places, but recently this place is getting out of my Fav. Just took some of friends visiting town on a Sunday and the food menu for the day wasn’t tasty at all. As a Cuban Restaurant Ropa Vieja should be in the daily menu since is a delicacy. The waiter maybe was having a rough day, he was very sarcastic and didn’t offer bread or coffee. I couldn’t believe it.
