This is a great sports bar with good food and the staff to back it up. My wife and I had a good time on a wednesday afternoon and the food is priced right and tastes very good. We are thinking of going here with friends to watch sporting events in the next few days and I’m sure they will agree that this place is ok.

The bartenders here are order takers at best and pretty much nonexistent until you’re ready to pay. If you need anything in between, don’t count on them. They’re more talkative to their Caucasian customers though…

Ironically, the busser and security were far more attentive and helpful than the bar staff.

This is a cool place. I was there on Tuesday and had a great time. The food was pretty good. We had a really nice server. Her name was Jasmine. She made us feel comfortable and was such a sweetheart. Definitely coming back. Just wish I knew which nights she works lol.

Canz Bar and Grill has some great appetizers, We ordered their Mac & Cheese Balls which were huge! They were nicely coated in breadcrumbs making them crispy and golden brown. The Mac & Cheese itself in the inside was creamy and savory, with a strong cheese flavor, of course! They also gave an extra side of more cheese. Overall the balls were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. We also got their Loaded Hand Cut Friez with ranch dressing, bacon bitz & cheddar jack cheese. The fries tasted wonderful! The Jack cheese was nicely melted on top coating every fry and the bacon bitz give them a nice crunch with it. Then you get that ranch dressing to get that creamy combination.

Football ( soccer, Liverpool ⚽️) , baseball ( Mets) Basketball as well , Grid Iron ( American football, Jets) . When I come out here to Westbury where me “Cutie Bear” lives, the 1st place we head to is CANZ.
Thee manager “Mr. Jonny Katz “ is a gem . Ever soo friendly ,very attentive, and he makes sure this place is always welcoming . He’s very good, and always on top of things, even when this place is crazy mad busy.
All the barkeeps are very efficient , know their drinks, and always let you know the “ Happy Hour Specials” . Salma and Elyse go out of their way to make sure you’re served the way you wish to . Drinks are worth the $$ even when there is NO happy hour. The food is wonderful . The regulars are wonderful . The “ loo” ( bathroom) ever soo clean . The temperature inside is not freezing , so tiss quite comfy to relax and eat in . There is a car park , with plenty of room for your RollsRoyce or pick up truck , or a wee bus even . Very safe . Just pop by . All these people giving this place a “ bad review” are drunk or high . “ It reminds me of a pub in England, except here the food is good ! I’ve been coming to the place for just over a year! Never had any issues with service. Everyone is very attentive and personable including the owner. Deals on food and drinks depending on the day you visits, which I felt was reasonable and fair. Shot out to the team Elyse, Madison, Monica, Duffy, Andrea, Les, and cooking staff; too many to remember, but they always remember me with a nice welcome. When I initially moved to New York, I was told not to go here because they would treat you nicely or not based on your skin color. Absolutely false and I’ve frequently visited both locations to experience and see for myself! Hidden Gem! Visit!

The service here is great, always cleaning off tables, food and drinks come quickly and extra friendly service. Good specials and plenty of televisions to watch sporting events. The only knock is food is nothing really special but prices are fair.
